Beta features

With beta features, you can experiment with our latest features before they're available to everyone. These features are in early access and may change as we continue to develop them. Your feedback will help shape what they become. Beta features can be categorised in two categories: open beta and closed beta features. Open beta features are open to anyone that wants to participate in testing. Beta features can be enabled by contacting Ans Support as an administrator. 

Below is an overview of all open and closed beta features.

Open beta features

• Digital test overview for participants  
  Show participants of a digital test an overview of the questions with their corresponding type and points during a digital test.
   
• Drawing question 
  Use the drawing question as a new question type in digital tests.
   
• Export all uploaded files of an assignment
  Export all uploaded files of a digital test, a hand-in assignment or a written assignment.
   
• Import metadata 
  Import tags and objectives.
   
• Result Domains 
  Publish results' score per domain to provide participants with insights on their performance.
   
• Reviews 
  Reviews allow instructors to approve, comment or disapprove a result. 
   
• SAML Single Sign-On 
  Connect your own identity provider via SAML.
   
• Spreadsheet question 
  Use the spreadsheet question in digital test.
   
• Statement question 
  Use the statement question (kprime) as a new question type in digital tests.
   
• Synchronise assignments 
  Link assignments with question bank assignments and synchronise the assignment with the question bank assignment.
   
• Time limit 
  Set a time limit for an exercise.

Closed beta features

Closed beta features can only be enabled by our Support team. If you would like to have a feature enabled for your school, please contact our Support team. It is possible to leave feedback on our roadmap. 

• Assignment overview [Campus] 
  Get an overview of which assignments are in draft, planned in, live, taken, or archived.
   
• Comprehensive Integrated Puzzle (CIP) question
  Assess clinical reasoning by requiring students to analyse multiple pieces of patient information.
   
• Cut-off score 
  Define a minimum and maximum mark, set a pass threshold, and determine how points are distributed in a clear and transparent way. 
   
• Drawing question text plugin
  Allow participants to write text in a drawing question.
   
• Grading filter 
  Navigate through graded answers based on which criteria are selected or not selected.
