Student privileges can be used to restrict access for students to perform certain actions in Ans. If a privilege is changed, it is immediately saved and the consequences are directly effective for all students in the platform. There is one role for students. This role is given to all students by default. The student privileges are meant for students that participate as students or teaching assistants in a course.
Student privileges can be changed by following the steps below.
- Click your business School name in the top left.
- Click settings Settings in the menu at the top.
- Click Student privileges in the menu on the left.
- Check the boxes that apply.
A difference compared with employee privileges, is that it's not possible to combine student privileges with custom roles as there is no possibility to create a custom role for students.
