Assignments, courses, and question banks menu
The left side of the home page consists of three sections: assignments, courses, and question banks. Each section is explained below.
Assignments
The "ASSIGNMENTS" section shows all course assignments that have been pinned. You can pin an assignment to your home page by following the steps below.
- Navigate to the course assignment you want to pin to your home page.
- Click on the -icon next to the assignment name.
The assignment can be unpinned by opening it and to click on the -icon next to the assignment name.
Courses
The "COURSES" section displays your current and upcoming courses. Courses from previous school years are hidden from the list.
If you have access to multiple schools, courses from all your accounts are shown together. Courses belonging to another school display the school name before the course code, making it easy to distinguish between them. Selecting a course automatically switches you to the correct account and opens the course.
Pinned courses appear at the top of the list and are marked with a -icon. The remaining courses are listed alphabetically.
To pin courses to your home page, follow the steps below.
- Open the course that you want to pin.
- Click the -icon next to the course name.
The course can be unpinned by opening it and to click on the -icon next to the course name.
Question banks
The "QUESTION BANKS" section provides access to all question banks you can access across your accounts.
Pinned question banks appear at the top of the list and are marked with a -icon. The remaining question banks are listed alphabetically.
For users with access to multiple schools, the school name is shown before the question bank name. Opening a question bank from another school automatically switches you to the corresponding account.

The question bank can be unpinned by opening it and to click on the -icon next to the question bank name.
Switch accounts and quick actions
Switch accounts
If you have access to multiple schools, you can switch between accounts using the button next to the school name on the home page. Selecting a different account changes your active school while keeping access to all available information and actions.
If the switched to school requires 2FA, you will be asked to enter the 2FA code.
Print exams and upload scans
The quick actions provide shortcuts to tasks. Depending on your role and available tasks, you can navigate directly to pages for printing exams and uploading scanned files.
For non-repro roles, quick actions appear when relevant. The button Print exams is shown when there are assignments ready to print, and the button Upload scanned files is shown when there are scans that can be uploaded. Users with a repro role always have these buttons available on the home page.
Create a new assignment
Click New assignment to create an assignment from the home page.
A dialog opens showing recently used courses followed by all available courses. Use the search field to filter the list. Selecting a course opens the assignment creation page.
If no courses are available, a message explains that courses are required to create assignments. If you have the permission to create courses, it is possible to create a new course directly from this dialog.
Recent drafts, schedule, and past assignments
The information in this dropdown refer to the new home page experience. The new home page is enabled by default, but it is still possible to switch to the old experience.
Recent drafts, schedule, and past assignments
Each section shows assignments across different stages. Each section is explained below.
Recent drafts
The "RECENT DRAFTS" section displays the three assignments that were edited most recently. These include your own edits, and edits made by others with access to the assignment. The newest drafts appear first.
Clicking an assignment card opens the assignment.
Schedule
The "SCHEDULE" section provides an overview of upcoming deadlines.
It displays the first three scheduled assignments and publications due within the next 30 days, including today. Publications can be recognised by the Publication: prefix. If there are more than three scheduled assignments due within 30 days, all assignments can be shown by clicking See all due in the next 30 days.
Each card shows the end date and a timer, making it easy to see what is due soon. Items with the nearest deadlines appear first.
Click See your schedule to open the complete schedule in the weekly calendar view.
Past assignments
The "PAST ASSIGNMENTS" section displays assignments that have already ended.
Assignments are grouped by end date, with the most recently completed assignments shown first.
Click See all to open the full assignment history.
