My schedule gives you a weekly overview of all upcoming assignments and publications across your courses. You can use it to see at a glance when assignments are scheduled and when marks are published, without having to check each course individually.
Access your schedule
To open your schedule, follow the steps below.
- Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Click calendar_month My schedule.
You can also access your schedule from the home page (If the "Try the new homepage experience" toggle is enabled). The schedule widget on the home page displays your next upcoming events (assignments and publications). Click See all to open the full schedule.
The weekly calendar
The schedule displays a weekly calendar view, showing all days from Sunday to Saturday. Events are positioned at their scheduled times throughout the day.
Navigate between weeks
Use the arrow buttons next to the week number to browse between weeks. Click the Today button to jump back to the current week. The today button only appears when you are viewing a different week.
Event types
The calendar displays two types of events, each with its own colour:
| Event type | Description |
| Assignment | A timeslot during which students can take an assignment. Displayed in purple. |
| Publication | A timeslot during which students can view their marks. Displayed in orange. |
A legend at the bottom of the calendar explains the colour coding.
Multi-day events
Events that span multiple days are displayed as horizontal bars at the bottom of the calendar, stretching across the relevant days. Single-day events are displayed as blocks positioned at their scheduled time.
Overlapping events
When an assignment and a publication event overlap in time, they are displayed side by side. When multiple assignments are grouped at the same time, the event shows a stacked card effect with the total count (e.g. "3 assignments").
Current time indicator
When viewing the current week, a dashed line indicates the current time. The line updates automatically, making it easy to see where you are in the day.
View event details
To view the details of an event, click on it in the calendar. A dropdown appears showing:
- Date and time range - when the event starts and ends.
- Location - the assigned location(s), if any.
- Course - the course code and name.
- Assignment name - the name of the assignment.
- Countdown timer - a live timer showing the time until the event starts or the time remaining.
Click the event in the dropdown to navigate directly to the assignment.
Schedule on the home page
If the "Try the new homepage experience" toggle is enabled, the home page displays a compact schedule widget showing your next 3 upcoming assignments and publications within the next 30 days. Each item displays the date, course, assignment name, type, and a live countdown timer.
Click See all to open the full weekly calendar. If there are no upcoming assignments within 30 days, the widget displays "No assignments with a due date in the next 30 days."
Countdown timers
Events display live countdown badges that update automatically:
| Status | Display |
| Upcoming | Shows the time until the event starts (e.g. "in 3 days", "in 2 hr 15 min"). Displayed as a grey badge. |
| Live | Shows the time remaining (e.g. "45 min left", "2 hr left"). Displayed as a green badge with a pulsing dot. |
| Past | The timer is no longer displayed. |
