Ans listens to window paste events to intercept paste actions. This event captures paste actions so that the pasted content can be processed, validated, or used within a web application.
Ans proctoring enables you to monitor if participants exit the tab or if they copy-paste content into their assignment. More information about setting this up can be found here
During the taking session, participants can be monitored on the 'Taking' page of the digital test. If Ans proctoring is enabled, incidents will be reported as comments on the taking page. For example, the screenshot below shows that student Blake Hegmann has 5 incidents registered.
Clicking on the participant's name will open an overview of comments. As shown in the screenshot below, the participant pasted content into her assignment and also closed the assignment tab.
It is up to the institution to interpret the meaning of the incidents. Ans simply logs when and how often an incident occurs. We recommend using a proctoring integration for more in-depth information. The proctoring settings can be used in combination with the proctoring integrations Proctorio or ProctorExam.
