Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to navigate to the current attempt in a hand-in assignment
Previously, it was not possible to navigate to the current attempt for a hand in assignment when you had multiple attempts. This would happen when you navigated to a previous attempt via the attempt dropdown before trying to go back to your current attempt. In this case, the dropdown would only display 'Attempt 1'. Now, the latest attempt is also visible in the attempt dropdown.
-
Fixed an issue where the formatting toolbar did not function correctly when editing long questions
Previously, when editing the content of a question or description that was sufficiently large (took up the entire screen or more), the toolbar of the rich text editor would be fixed at the top of the page. Now, the toolbar will always be shown at the top of the rich text editor.
-
Fixed an issue where it was no longer possible for authors to add relations between exercises
Previously, authors would get a permission denied screen when searching for question relations. Now, the search works correctly, allowing authors to add question relations.
-
Fixed an issue where the points of a criteria group would not be synchronised
Previously, the points of a criteria group would not be synchronised when synchronising the question or assignment. Now, the points are synchronised successfully. This issue only affected 2 exercises and the impacted school has been informed.
-
Fixed an issue where it was possible to copy question bank exercises to bubblesheet assignments
Previously, it was possible to copy a question bank exercise to a bubblesheet assignment. Now, bubblesheet assignments are no longer shown in the list when copying a question bank exercise.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to add Kprime rules to statement questions
Previously, clicking the "+ Add Kprime rules" button in a statement question would cause the exercise to be stuck in the loading state. Now, the button works correctly again.
-
Fixed an issue where "Calculate solution" did not work for mathematical questions
Previously, when using the "Calculate solution" button in a mathematical equation, the exercise would remain in the loading state. Now, the solution is displayed correctly. Please note that this issue only occurred when creating new questions and did not affect students taking tests.
-
Fixed an issue where reordering multiple choice alternatives would cause the question to get stuck
Previously, when using the "Move up" or "Move down" options to reorder multiple choice alternatives, the question would remain stuck in a loading screen. The options now work correctly again.
-
Fixed an issue where the score of a hotspot question would be incorrect when previewing the question in a question bank
Previously, when previewing the score of a hotspot question in a question bank, the score would not be shown correctly the first time. It would be shown correctly after clicking the "Show score" button a second time. Now, the score is always correctly shown.
-
Fixed an issue where the Statement question would hang when using invalid fixed positions
Previously, in a statement question, when an invalid fixed position was set for a row or column, the question would remain in a loading state instead of displaying an error message. Now, the error message is displayed correctly.
-
Fixed an issue where downloading an attachment during a digital test with Proctorio caused an error
Previously, the button 'Download file' didn't work properly when taking an assignment in Proctorio. The user was redirected to a 'Something went wrong' page. The only way to download a file in this case was through a right-mouse click. With this fix, we've ensured the files are loaded in properly and can be downloaded using the button.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to view flags when filtering by groups
Previously, when filtering on groups during grading, the "View all" button for flags would redirect you to the "Something went wrong" screen. Now, the button works correctly again.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to grade a question worth zero points with a slider
Previously, it was not possible to grade a question worth 0 points using the slider. Now, the input field is enabled, allowing 0 points to be awarded.
-
Fixed an issue where "Content missing" was displayed instead of an updated question when sending a new version to the question bank
Previously, when sending a new version of an exercise to the question bank, there was a possibility for it to fail, and for the exercise to be replaced with the "Content missing" text. This would occur when an exercise in another assignment was also linked to the same question bank exercise, and a choice alternative was removed from the exercise that was being sent to the question bank. This has now been resolved so that sending the new version succeeds and the exercise is correctly updated afterwards.
-
Fixed an issue where a file could not be downloaded if the question was disabled
Previously, when grading a disabled file upload question, the button to view the uploaded file was unresponsive. Now, the uploaded file is shown when the 'View file' button is clicked.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to navigate on the results exercise tab.
Previously, navigating to the exercises tab in the results overview would display 'No results yet', due to a issue with dynamically loading the next page. The overview now loads as intended.
-
Fixed an issue where resetting the assignment progress for a student would incorrectly mark that student as a reviewer for that question.
Previously, when resetting assignment progress for a student on the taking page (moving a student from 'Submitted' back to 'Busy'), the student could be incorrectly marked as a reviewer of automatically graded questions. We have now fixed this issue so that students are no longer indicated as reviewers of their own questions. Please note that this was a purely visual issue and had no impact on assignment grading.
-
Fixed an issue where it was possible to generate a question bank assignment even if a custom role did not allow this
Previously, it was possible for publishers with a custom role to generate a new question bank assignment even when their role was restricted from creating question bank assignments. Now, the custom role correctly blocks the generating of a new question bank assignment.
-
Fixed an issue where the contributors of a question bank were unable to upload images in an exercise description
Previously, when accessing a question bank as an external user, it was not possible to add images to a description. Now, this is possible again.
-
Fixed an issue where marks from peer-reviews were not correctly synchronised with the LMS
Previously, when syncing grades between Ans and an LMS via LTI, the grade for the first reviewed peer review was synced instead of the average grade shown in the platform. This has now been fixed to ensure that the average grade is exported. This issue impacted one school, and they have already been informed.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to award points for empty questions with the rubrics grading type
Previously, when grading an unanswered question with rubrics, the score would always remain 0 even if additional points were awarded. Now, the score is correctly updated based on the selected rubric criteria.
