Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where users with restricted grading scheme permissions encountered layout issues in the editor
Previously, on the assignment's question page, the "Exercises" and "Grading scheme" tabs were hidden for users whose custom role did not have permission to view "Assignment grading schemes". As a result, the settings button and the "New exercise" button moved to the left side of the editor. This caused the "Configuration settings have moved" message to appear behind the table of contents, making it impossible to read. The buttons now remain on the right side of the editor, regardless of which tabs are visible. The "Configuration settings have moved" message now appears fully visible below the settings button.
-
Fixed an issue where the Editor remains blank in bubble sheets created from assignment templates
Previously, when a bubble sheet was created from an assignment template, the Editor did not display any questions. As a result, the bubble sheet appeared empty instead of displaying the number of questions included in the template. The affected assignments have been updated. Now, when a bubble sheet is created from an assignment template, the Editor displays the same number of questions as the template. The correct answers are not copied, as assignment templates only copy settings.

Fixed an issue where sessions were not submitted automatically when a timeslot deadline was moved earlier
Previously, when a timeslot deadline was moved to an earlier time while students were taking a digital test, their sessions remained in the 'Busy' status until the original deadline had passed. Now, sessions are submitted automatically when the updated deadline passes, using the new deadline as the submission time. If the new deadline is still in the future, the sessions are submitted when that deadline is reached. The same applies when the duration of a timeslot is shortened.

Fixed an issue where scan files with duplicate forms showed no error when they could not be processed
Previously, a scanned file could show no errors but still produce 0 results. This happened when the same form was printed multiple times, and the scanned pages from those copies were out of order. The system could not tell which copy each page belonged to, so the page did not explain that there was a problem. Now, the uploaded file shows an error in the file list that identifies the affected forms (for example, “0002.pdf, 0004.pdf and 0006.pdf”) and asks you to upload the file again with the scanned pages from each copy in the correct order. Before uploading it again, use Delete in the same row to remove the original file.
The system can distinguish between multiple copies of the same form only when the pages for each copy are scanned in order. If each form was printed only once, pages can still be processed even if they are mixed up.
-
Fixed an issue where moving a comment in a PDF when grading a written assignment could be placed higher or further left
Previously, when grading a PDF at a zoom level other than 100% or on a rotated page, moving a comment could cause it to be in the wrong position. The comment could be placed higher or further to the left than intended. Drawings were not affected.Comments now remain exactly where they are dropped, regardless of the zoom level or page rotation.

Fixed an issue where copying a large assignment could fail and slow down other background tasks
Previously, exercise numbering was updated after each exercise was copied. When copying large assignments, these updates could run concurrently, block each other, and fail. This also delayed other background tasks. If an exercise could not be copied, the failure was only reported after the system had attempted to copy all exercises. The entire copy process would then restart from the beginning. Now, exercise numbering is updated only once, after an assignment has been copied or synchronised. In addition, the copy process stops as soon as an exercise cannot be copied.
