This article contains this release's feature updates, user interface changes and bug fixes.

Introduced text highlighting during digital tests

Participants can now highlight text while taking a digital test, making it easier to mark key parts of a question as they work.

Use the new menu in the bottom-left corner to switch between “Cursor” and “Highlight” mode. In “Highlight” mode, select text within a question to highlight it. Click highlighted text to remove the highlight.

Only the participant who creates a highlight can see it. Highlights are not shown while grading or shared with other participants when working on a group assignment.

Only text within the question can be highlighted. Text in attachments cannot be highlighted.

Highlights are kept when the page is refreshed or the browser is closed and reopened. They are not kept when a participant continues the test on another computer and may be removed when using a lockdown browser that clears its data after closing.

Comment on exercises

Previously, comments were only available for question bank exercises. Now, every exercise now has a "Comments" tab where you can discuss it with colleagues. Open the tab below any exercise, type a comment, and post it. Mention someone with "@" to add them the conversation, and reply to keep threads together.

Start typing and press Enter to post a quick comment. For something longer, click the formatting button to open the full text editor. Enter then adds a new line instead of posting, and Cancel and Save buttons appear so you post or discard on purpose. Cancel clears what you have written and returns to the quick comment box.

The most recent comments show by default, with older ones a click away under "Show earlier comments". You can edit or delete your own comments at any time.

Comments is now the default tab. The list of where an exercise has been used moved into a "Previously used in" tab next to it, shown when the exercise has been used before.

Redesigned chat for digital tests

Chat during a digital test has been rebuilt for both participants and staff. Participants now chat from a side panel. Instructors and invigilators get a new chats page with search, previews, and read confirmation.

For participants

Selecting the chat icon in the digital test header opens a side panel next to the questions. The panel stays open while navigating through the test. Participants can keep chatting while they answer.

The panel is titled "Chat" when the instructor allows questions. It is titled "Announcements" when they don't. Closing the panel gives the full width back to the test.

When a message or announcement is unread, a preview appears below the chat icon. It shows the sender's name and the first three lines. Announcements show "Announcement" instead of a sender name. When both are unread, the newest one is shown. Selecting the preview opens the panel, and opening the panel marks the chat as read.

For instructors and invigilators

The chats page opens on announcements. A sidebar next to it lists announcements and every participant thread.

Each row in the sidebar shows the participant or group name, the time of the last message, and a preview of it. The preview starts with "You:" when you sent the last message. It starts with the sender's first name when another instructor or invigilator sent it. It starts with "Announcement" when the last item was an announcement. A dot marks threads with unread messages.

The search field above the sidebar searches chats and messages. Results appear in two sections. "Chats" matches on participant name, student number, and group name. "Messages" matches on message content. Matching terms are highlighted. Selecting a message result opens that chat and scrolls to the message.

Opening a chat shows the participant or group name, the session state, and an options menu in the header. From this menu, you can add a comment or change the additional time without returning to the sessions overview.

What both sides see

Messages are grouped per day under a date divider. Each group shows the time it was sent. Hovering over a time shows the full date and time.

Announcements appear in the same timeline as chat messages. They are labelled "Announcement" and styled apart from them.

Sent messages show a read confirmation. A single check means the message was sent. A double check means the other side has read it.

Turning chat on or off

Chat is now turned on or off from the chats page. Previously this setting was under the assignment's accessibility settings.

Open the "Chat ON" or "Chat OFF" control at the top right. Then choose "Allow participants to ask questions" or "Don't allow participants to ask questions".

When chat is off, participants keep access to announcements and to messages already sent. They cannot send anything.

Digital test pages now show a course and test breadcrumb above the questions

The top bar on a digital test no longer repeats the test name. A breadcrumb now appears at the top of the question panel showing the course name, a chevron, and the test name. This keeps the test's context visible while reading questions without taking up space in the top bar.

"Submit" button renamed to "Complete" when finishing a digital test

Previously, the button at the top of a digital test that takes you to the finalisation screen was labelled "Submit", the same label as the final hand-in button on the next screen.

That button is now labelled "Complete" ("Afronden" in Dutch). Selecting it still takes you to the submit screen, where you confirm and select "Submit" to hand in the digital test. Only the label has changed; the flow is the same.

This distinguishes finishing your answers and moving to the submit screen from the final, irreversible submission.

Leave a comment for instructors after submitting a digital test

Participants can now leave a comment for instructors after submitting a digital test, when "Allow comments after the test" is enabled.

On the digital test result page, participants can select "Leave a comment" next to the submission time to open a dialog and write their comment.

Previously, participants could only leave a comment before submitting their result. Now, comments are written after submission, from the result page. This gives participants a clearer moment to share something with instructors after they have completed the test.

The dialog now makes it clear that comments are not anonymous. Instructors can read the comment, see which participant left it, and view it together with the participant’s test result.

Notepad now opens beside the digital test

The feature previously called “Digital notes” is now called “Notepad”. In Dutch, it is called “Kladblok”.

When Notepad is enabled for a digital test, participants can open it in a side panel beside the test. This replaces the previous draggable dialog and keeps the test visible while participants write.

The Notepad provides one writing area instead of multiple separate notes. Content is saved automatically, so there is no separate save button.

Participants can close and reopen the Notepad during the test without losing its content.

Navigate a digital test from a question sidebar

Previously, students moved through a digital test with a navigation bar at the bottom of the page.

The test page now has a sidebar listing every question in the test, grouped by section. Each box shows the question number and turns filled once the question is answered; bookmarked questions show a bookmark icon. Clicking a box opens that question. The sidebar updates as you answer and bookmark, and keeps the question you are working on in view.

At the bottom of the exercise are 'Previous exercise' and 'Next exercise' buttons, with the position of the current exercise in the test between them. Buttons that are not available are hidden, so an exercise the student cannot go back to has no 'Previous exercise' button.

Questions the student can no longer open show a lock and cannot be clicked. Questions further ahead that are not reachable yet are shown but not clickable. Which questions those are depends on the navigation mode of the digital test.

Edit a timeslot's access code by clicking it

Access codes for digital test timeslots can now be edited directly. Select the code to open an inline editor, enter or paste a new six-character code, and save the change.

The renewed or edited code is shown immediately to staff who are monitoring the same assignment page. This keeps the timeslots overview up to date without requiring everyone to refresh.

Generated access codes are now six digits. Digit codes are easier to read out, remember and enter, while still offering enough possible combinations for a timeslot access code.

When you enter a code manually, you can use any combination of letters and digits. Since manual codes are typed by staff, ans* no longer excludes lookalike characters such as O, I, L, 0, and 1. This keeps manual entry simple as the code works exactly as you typed it.

Edit a timeslot directly from its header

Timeslots now have an "Edit" button in the header, next to the actions menu, so you no longer need to open the dropdown to edit. The header layout was adjusted so the date, locations, and participants sit together on the left while the edit button and actions menu align on the right.

Open a group's members from a timeslot's sessions list

When a timeslot is assigned to a group, the group's name in the timeslot details now appears as a link. Selecting it opens the group's member list.

The link only appears when you have permission to view that group's members. If you cannot access them, the group name is shown as plain text instead.

Add non-course learners from the timeslot participants dropdown

The participants dropdown for individual assignment timeslots now also shows eligible people and classes that are not yet part of the course. These results are marked with "Add to course".

Selecting one of these people adds them to the course as a learner and assigns them to the timeslot in the same save. Classes outside the course expand into individual people, matching the existing class selection behavior.

People who are already course staff cannot be added as participants. Users without permission to manage course learners continue to see only the existing course-scoped participant results.

"Layout" panel renamed to "Table of contents"

Previously, the left panel of the assignment split-screen editor was labelled "Layout". That collided with the unrelated "layout" settings.

This panel is now labelled "Table of contents", matching what it does. The panel's behaviour is unchanged; only the label is different. It appears for digital tests, written assignments, hand-in assignments, and appraisal forms. The layout settings keep their name in the assignment settings panel.

The exercise overview stays readable while scrolling long assignments

The exercise overview in the "Table of contents" panel is now easier to navigate in long assignments. The search bar remains fixed at the top of the panel, while the exercise count summary stays fixed at the bottom. The list of sections and exercises scrolls between them.

As you scroll through the list, the current section header stays visible at the top, making it easier to keep track of where you are. Each exercise also displays its ID next to its name, making specific exercises easier to identify and refer to.

Search the table of contents while editing an assignment

The table of contents panel now has a search field at the top. Results appear as you type.

Matches are grouped under "Exercises" and "Questions", in the order they appear in the assignment. Exercises are matched on their name and ID, questions on their content. Each result shows the matching text with the search term highlighted; a question result also shows the exercise it belongs to. Clicking a result jumps to that exercise or question in the editor.

To make space for the search field, the "New exercise" button moved out of the table of contents panel. It now sits in the header at the top right of the editor, and its dropdown still holds "New section" and "Add exercise".

Search only covers the assignment you are editing. While results are shown, the panel lists matches instead of the usual sections and exercises, so reordering is unavailable. Clearing the search field brings the full table of contents back.

Digital test navigation is now set with a single navigation mode

Previously, navigation was configured using a "View once" option (applied to either "All sections" or "All exercises"), alongside a separate "Require an answer to continue" setting and a per-exercise "Exercise can be viewed once" option.

The navigation section in the digital test settings now contains a single "Navigation mode" menu with three options. "Free navigation" allows participants to move to any exercise at any time. "Linear between sections" allows free movement within a section, but prevents returning to a section once the next one has been entered. "Linear between exercises" allows forward-only navigation, with each exercise locked after moving on.

When forward navigation is final, the "Next exercise" button is replaced by "Submit and continue". Participants must confirm before their answers for that part are submitted.

The "Require an answer to continue" beta setting and the per-exercise "Exercise can be viewed once" option have been removed. Existing digital tests automatically retain an equivalent navigation mode.

The removal of "Exercise can be viewed once" was originally planned for September 1. Due to technical constraints, it is included in this release instead. Our earlier communication has been updated accordingly.

Criterion names are now limited to 100 characters

When editing a criterion, the name field now accepts up to 100 characters.

The description field below it now reads "Add an optional description..." to make clear that a description is not required. Only the name and percentage or points are needed to define a criterion.

Objectives are now found under Settings

Objectives used to have their own tab in the top navigation of question banks and courses. They have now moved to the Settings menu, next to other setup options.

This makes the main navigation simpler. Objectives are useful for setting up a course or question bank, but they are not created every day. That is why they now sit with other settings, such as labels, tags and custom fields.

Sort control on courses and question banks is now a labeled dropdown

Previously, sorting on the courses and question banks pages was hidden behind an icon button next to the search bar. You had to open the menu to see or change the order.

The courses and question banks pages now show a "Sort by" dropdown next to the search bar and filters. It displays the current order and lists the options directly: recently updated, newest first, and alphabetically. Choosing an option applies it directly and saves it for your future visits.

Question banks can now be filtered by study

It is now possible to filter question banks by study. This helps you find the right question bank when you have many question banks associated with different studies.

Multiple people can now open the same question bank exercise at the same time

Previously, opening a question bank exercise in a question bank locked it. Anyone else who tried to open the same exercise was sent back to the exercises overview with a message that another user was editing it.

That lock has been removed. Several contributors can now open and edit the same question bank exercise at the same time. Edits follow last-write-wins: if two people work on the same exercise at once, whoever saves last keeps their version and overwrites changes saved before it. The exercise log remains available to review earlier versions and restore them if needed.

Protection rules are now set on labels

Previously, exercise and assignment protection rules were managed on two separate pages in the question bank menu.

Protection rules are now configured directly on question bank labels. Open a label from the Labels page to configure protection rules for exercises and assignments. Labels with one or more protection rules enabled now show a lock icon, and hovering over it displays the active rules.

For schools using custom roles, the permissions Question bank exercise protection rules and Question bank assignment protection rules have been removed and automatically stripped from existing custom roles. Protection rules are now managed through the existing Question bank labels permission. To restrict who can change protection rules, restrict access to Question bank labels in the relevant custom roles.

Question bank filters now show only when relevant

On the exercises page in a question bank, the tag and objective filters are hidden when the question bank does not have any tags or objectives. The author filter is shown only when there is more than one author.

The last taken filter has moved to the filters menu. Open filters and select last taken to show options for exercises taken within the past year, taken over a year ago, or never taken.

This keeps the filter bar focused on the filters that are relevant for the current question bank.

Schoolyear digital tests now guide students to submit before leaving

Students taking a digital test in Schoolyear are now guided to submit their test before closing the locked-down browser.

After a student submits their test, Schoolyear now recognises the results page as the point where the session can be closed. Schoolyear will then prompt the student to exit.

This helps prevent students from leaving Schoolyear before they have submitted their test. It works automatically for new Schoolyear digital test sessions. Publication sessions are unchanged.

Platform announcements

Important product changes, enhancements, and other updates are now shared directly in the platform, making them easier to find and less likely to be missed. They appear in the notification feed as announcements from ans* and are sent to all existing employee accounts. Students do not receive these notifications.

Clicking an announcement redirects you to its dedicated page. Opening it marks the notification as read and moves it to the "Previous" section. Like other notifications, it is removed after 90 days. This only removes the notification, the announcement itself remains available at its permanent URL.

Platform announcements do not replace our existing communication channels. Instead, they provide another way to keep active users informed while they are using ans*.

Past adjustments now show every matching suggestion when grading

When grading, the adjustment form suggests adjustments (commentary and points) that have already been applied to other students' submissions, so you can reuse them with one click.

Previously, this list was capped at three suggestions and showed a count.

The "Past adjustments" section now lists every distinct adjustment from other submissions, ordered newest first. The three most recent are shown by default, and a "Show all" button reveals the rest. Adjustments already applied to the current submission are excluded, and duplicate suggestions are merged so each one appears only once.

Grade appraisals with the keyboard

When grading an appraisal, all questions are listed in a single view. Each criterion now shows the key that toggles it, next to the criterion itself. Press that key to select or deselect the criterion, and press 0 to select "None of the above".

The keys always apply to the question currently displayed on screen. This is the case regardless of whether you moved there through the question navigation on the left, by scrolling, or with the new navigation keys: J goes to the next question and K goes to the previous one. Criteria of questions that are not in view keep their key visible, but pressing a key never changes them.

The first ten criteria of a question use the number keys, the following sixteen use the letters Q through H. J and K are reserved for navigation and are no longer assigned to criteria. Criteria beyond that count have no key and can only be selected by clicking them. Keys do not respond while you are typing in a text field.

New grading experience enabled by default

The redesigned grading experience is now enabled by default. When you open a submission for a supported question type (numerical value questions and open question types using the criteria or rubric grading method), grading now uses the new grading scheme layout instead of the previous criteria panel.

Users who already tried the new grading experience and chose to switch back will stay on the previous version. The option to switch between the two remains available from the grading view during the transition period, so you can move back and forth while getting used to the new design.

Results show when they were submitted and how long digital tests took

The results overview now shows when each result was submitted. Below each student name you'll see the result ID and relative time, such as "#1234 submitted 5 minutes ago". For digital tests, the time it took to complete is shown when the duration is under 24 hours. This appears as "1h 30min" or "45min" next to the submission time. The student number now appears directly after the student name instead of in the support text below.

Improved assignment attachments

Attachments in question bank assignments are now copied into course assignments, instead of being shown directly from the question bank assignment. This means each course assignment has its own attachment list.

With assignment synchronisation (beta feature) attachments are now synchronised. Changes in the question bank assignment are applied to the course assignment the next time that course assignment is synchronised.

Existing attachments are migrated so course assignments keep their own copies. Because of that, removing an attachment from a question bank assignment does not immediately remove it from already linked course assignments. It is only removed in a course assignment after that course assignment is synchronised.

Attachments are now visible in logs for both assignment types: 1. Assignment logs show attachment changes, including deletions. 2. Question bank assignment logs show attachment changes, except deletions.

Improved exercise attachments

Exercise attachments from question banks are now copied into course assignments, instead of being only linked to the question bank exercise.

When you synchronise an exercise with the question bank, attachments are now synchronised. Changes in the question bank exercise attachments are applied to the exercises the next time the exercise is synchronised to or from the question bank.

Existing exercise attachments are migrated so exercises in assignments keep their own copies. Because of this, removing an attachment from a question bank exercise does not immediately remove it from linked assignments exercises. It is only removed in an assignment exercise after that exercise is synchronised.

"Background jobs" renamed to "Imports & exports"

The page in your account settings that lists your recent imports and exports was titled "Background jobs", a technical term that did not describe what the page actually shows. Every job listed there is an import or an export, so the page is now called "Imports & exports".

The settings menu item, page heading, and the back link on a job's detail page all use the new name. Only the name has changed. The page still shows the import and export jobs you started in the last seven days, and each job's status and details are unchanged.

Class pages have a new header and a full-width layout

Previously, each class page showed a sticky card on the left with the class name, member count, school year, school levels, and subjects, beside the page content.

Each class page now opens with the class name as a heading, a link back to all classes above it, and the section navigation (staff, students, courses, and settings) directly below.

On the students and staff pages, the empty state now appears in place of the table when no one has been added yet, and the search bar appears only once there is someone to search.

Find classes in the "Jump to" search

The "Jump to" (Ctrl + J) search now includes classes, making it faster to open a class when you already know its name.

Previously, you had to open the school, go to "Users", switch to the "Classes" tab, and find the class in the overview. You can now type the class name into "Jump to" and select it directly from the new "Classes" section. Each result shows the number of students and the academic year.

Classes only appear for users who have access to the classes overview.

Live and upcoming assignments on the home page schedule

The home page schedule now separates assignments that are open from those that are about to open. Assignments currently within their open window appear first under a "Live now" heading. Below them, upcoming assignments are grouped by when they start, each under a label such as "Today at 14:00", "Tomorrow at 09:00", or a full date.

The schedule shows the first three upcoming assignments. Select "Show more" to reveal the rest.

Previously, the schedule listed assignments with a due date in the next 30 days, ordered by deadline. It now shows assignments that are live or that open within the next two weeks, and assignments that have already ended no longer appear. When there is nothing to show, the schedule reads "Nothing coming up."

New assignment moved to quick actions

The "New assignment" button now appears in the quick actions row at the top of the home page, next to "Print exams" and "Upload scans".

These actions now sit together because they all help you start or continue work. They also share the same button style, with an icon and label, making the row easier to scan.

"Start on new page" is no longer shown when creating exercises

The "Start on new page" option is no longer shown when creating a new exercise in a question bank, reducing the number of options displayed during exercise creation. The option remains available when editing an existing exercise.

Removed the Ouriginal integration

As announced previously, Ouriginal has stopped working and enabling the integration has been removed.

The Ouriginal integration can no longer be configured on school level, and can no longer be enabled or updated on an assignment. Existing integrations on an assignment can still be removed.

On the result page, the submit button has been removed. Plagiarism information that was already generated is still shown.

Removed Safe Exam Browser Server

As announced previously, the Safe Exam Browser Server integration has been removed. The "Safe Exam Browser Server" option no longer appears in the settings menu of a digital test.

To secure a digital test with Safe Exam Browser, use the "Safe Exam Browser" integration in the settings menu instead. This continues to lock down the browser during the test without a separate server.

Objectives and tags CSV imports are being removed

As announced previously, the Objectives CSV and Tags CSV imports have been marked as deprecated.

A notice now appears under Import on the question bank settings page, stating that the Objectives CSV and Tags CSV imports will be removed on 1 January 2027.

Until that date, both imports continue to work as before. After 1 January 2027, they no longer appear and objectives and tags can no longer be added by uploading a CSV file. The Möbius (beta), QML, QTI, and Respondus imports on the same page are not affected.

To assign objectives and tags to exercises, use the question bank exercises table or the API. Objectives and tags can be set per exercise or for several selected exercises at once, without needing to match each row to an exercise by its external ID or QTI identifier.

Removed the addresses page from the school settings

Previously, the school settings had an "Addresses" page where addresses could be added, edited, and deleted. These addresses were not used anywhere, so the page has been removed.

Removed the roadmap from the Help menu in the platform

Previously, the roadmap was linked directly from the Help menu in the platform. Product updates are now shared through our newsletter instead, so this link has been removed.

Removed the digital test overview panel for participants

As announced previously, the digital test overview beta feature has been removed.

Previously, participants at a limited number of schools could use the digital test overview during a digital test to view question types, points, and progress in a side panel. This feature has now been removed.

Navigation between questions and the existing question overview remain unchanged. We will use the insights gained from this beta feature to improve how participants can track their progress in future updates.

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where the Restore button was shown to users without permission to restore assignments
  When staff members do not have permission to remove assignments, they also cannot restore them. Previously, the "Restore" button was still shown, but clicking it led to an "Access denied" page. Now, the "Restore" button is not shown to users without permission to restore assignments.
   
• Edit buttons on questions and grading schemes now show a label
  The edit action for questions, content blocks, and grading schemes is now displayed as a labeled Edit button instead of an icon-only button. This makes the action easier to recognise and aligns it with the tertiary button style used throughout the platform.
   
• Clarify menu options with an extra step
  Menu options that require an additional step are now indicated with "...". Previously, it was not always clear whether an option would perform an action immediately or open another step first. For example, "Copy" could be interpreted as creating a copy right away, while in reality users must first choose where the copy should be placed.
   

• Evaluation criteria now appear before the model answer when editing a question
  Previously, the model answer field appeared above the evaluation criteria in the question editor.

  The evaluation criteria now come first, directly below the scoring method, and are marked as required with an asterisk. The model answer field follows below them. Its placeholder now reads "Add an optional model answer...", making clear that filling in a model answer is optional.

  This applies to every question type that uses evaluation criteria.
   

• Question bank actions moved up next to the filters
  Previously, the "Customise columns" button and the "New exercise" button sat on their own row between the filters and the question table.

  These controls now share the top row with the search field and filters, aligned to the right. The question table starts directly below, removing the separate row of buttons and giving the list more vertical space.
   

• Fixed an issue where tools and navigation settings were not synchronised with the question bank assignment
  Previously, only the layout and instructions settings of the assignment configuration were synchronised. Changing a setting under Tools or Navigation in a question bank assignment left the linked assignments in sync, and synchronising did not carry those settings over.

  The tools: Notepad, Spellchecker, Calculator, Run live code, "Show whether closed questions were answered correctly" and the Navigation mode are now part of the synchronisation. Changing any of them in the question bank assignment marks the linked assignments as out of sync, and synchronising overwrites the assignment with the question bank assignment's values.

  This only applies to assignments that have not been taken yet. Once an assignment has been taken, changing these settings in the question bank assignment does not mark it as out of sync.
   

• Fixed an issue where removed learners still appeared as timeslot participants
  Previously, when a learner was removed from a course, their name stayed on any timeslots in that course where they were added as a specific participant. The removed learner kept showing up in the participants list even though they no longer had access to the course.

  Now, removing a learner from a course also removes them from the timeslots they were assigned to in that course.
   

• File tabs only appear on digital tests that use attachments
  The file tabs on a digital test now only displayed when the digital test actually contains attachments. Digital tests without attachments no longer show an empty file tab bar.
   

• Playback speed is now fixed for all audio and video in digital tests
  Candidates can no longer change the playback speed of audio and video fragments while taking a digital test. The speed control is removed from the player for every media question.

  Previously, playback speed was only locked when a question also limited the number of plays or disabled pausing. It is now locked for all audio and video questions, regardless of those other playback restrictions.

  This keeps media questions consistent for all candidates. Playback speed affects how difficult a question is, especially when listening, timing, or pronunciation are part of what is being assessed.
   

• Fixed an issue where clicking an annotation in a written assignment did not work
  Previously, annotations in the PDF viewer could only be opened reliably when grading at 100% zoom. At other zoom levels, clicking an annotation could target the wrong place in the document.

  Annotations can now be opened at any zoom level. When annotations overlap, the annotation shown on top is selected.
   

• Insights and analytics pages place the print button at the bottom
  Previously, the print button sat at the top of the assignment insights and analytics pages, and each page rendered it with slightly different styling and positioning.

  The print button now sits at the bottom of the page, below the results, on the overview, questions, objectives, alignment, and comments insights pages. It uses the same small icon style everywhere.
   

• Added text descriptions for video and audio content blocks
  Descriptive captions are now available for video and audio content blocks in digital tests, the same as images. 
   

• The "Find page in incomplete forms" dialog now keeps the preview and Select button in view
  Previously, when an incomplete form had many matching pages, the list of pages stretched the dialog. Scrolling down to find the right page pushed the page preview on the left and the Select button out of view, so you had to scroll back up to see the preview and all the way down to confirm.

  The list of pages now scrolls within its own area. The preview on the left and the Cancel and Select buttons stay in place no matter how far you scroll through the list.

  The first page in the list is focused when the dialog opens. Use the arrow keys to move through the pages. Each page you move to is selected and shown in the preview, so you no longer have to click every page individually.
   

• Fixed an issue where students without a result could see the publication via the home page
  Previously, a student would be able to see the publication timeslot on their homepage, even if the student did not have a result in that assignment. Now, only students who have taken the assignment will be able to see the publication timeslot on the homepage. 
   
• Added underline to inline links
  Previously, links within text were only indicated with colour which did not comply with WCAG standards. Now they are underlined as well.
