Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where it was no longer possible to filter on ReadSpeaker in the assignment overview
Previously, when filtering assignments on the ReadSpeaker integration, all assignments would be shown. Now, only assignments with the ReadSpeaker integration are shown.
-
Fixed an issue where it was no longer possible to edit the HTML of test instructions in question bank assignments
Previously, it was not possible to make changes to the HTML in the test instruction setting of question bank assignments, while this remained possible in course assignments. Now, the functionality to change the HTML of content in a question bank assignment has been restored.
-
Fixed an issue where the attempt counter on the taking page would occasionally be incorrect
Previously, the taking page would show the attempt with the highest grade instead of the latest attempt. Now, the latest attempt number is shown.
-
Fixed an issue where manual adjustments did not award points for fill-in questions without answers
Previously, if there were no answer options in a gap of a fill-in question, manual adjustments did not award points. Now, manual adjustments award points as expected.
-
Fixed an issue where published archived assignments were accessible via the home page for students
Previously, archived assignments would still be shown in the published assignments section of students if the publication was still active. Now, archived assignments are no longer shown.
-
Fixed an issue where having removed users in a question bank made the question bank exercises page inaccessible
Previously, if a student created an exercise and that student was later removed, opening the question bank exercises page would result in a "Something went wrong" error. This happened because student names were cleared upon removal, whereas removed staff members had their names replaced with “Deleted Employee”. Now, removed students are handled the same way as staff, and their name is set to “Deleted Student” once they get removed.
-
Fixed an issue where adding users to classes via the API incorrectly counted existing users toward the limit
Previously, adding users to classes through the API would sometimes fail as the system would tally the number of users twice. It would count every single user as new, even if they had already existed in the class. This has now been resolved so that the count is checked correctly.
-
Improved variable generation for assignments where many exercises used variables
Previously, when copying an assignment with many exercises using variables, the variables would not be generated in some cases. Now, the generation will retry 20 times to create the variables.
-
Fixed an issue where the amount of results displayed on the Print & scan page did not match
Previously, the results count shown per upload on the 'Print & scan' page would show 0, while there were results. Now, the number of results per upload is shown correctly.
-
Fixed an issue where QTI import changed the page height of an answer field
Previously, the QTI import would always import questions to have 0.25 page height as opposed to the default 0.5. Now, the QTI import uses the default value.
-
Fixed an issue where manual adjustments did not work for open questions with the 'Rubric' grading scheme
Previously, for open questions with the 'Rubric' grading scheme, it was required to select a criterion in order for manual adjustments to award points. Now, manual adjustments award points as expected.
-
Expanded username character support: n-dashes are now allowed
Previously some dash characters, such as the n-dash, were not allowed in user names. Now they have been added to the accepted characters
-
Fixed an issue where links to inaccessible flow groups were shown
Previously, exercises in question bank assignments created with a randomised legacy blueprints would still show a link to the flow groups, even though these are not supposed to be visible. Therefore, clicking on a link would result in an error. Now, the links have been removed, if they are not accessible.
