Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where clicking on the related exercises would show "Content missing"
Previously, when clicking on a related exercise in the question bank exercise profile, a "content missing" message would appear. Now, you are successfully redirected to the related exercise.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to update the grading schemes of multiple choice questions after the assignment had been taken
Previously, it was not possible to update the grading schemes of multiple choice questions if the questions used fixed positions and the assignment had already been taken. Now, it is possible again to update the grading scheme if multiple choice questions use fixed positions.
-
Fixed an issue where rubric percentages used a comma instead of a decimal point when the platform was set to Dutch
Previously, if the platform was set in Dutch, rubric criteria percentages were displayed with a comma (,) instead of a decimal point (.) in the input field. This prevented the grading scheme changes from being saved as the input required a decimal point to be used. The issue has been fixed so that it possible to save the grading scheme again.
-
Fixed an issue where the question bank exercise grading scheme showed variable names instead of the actual variables
Since the August 17th release the criteria would show variable names in red instead of the calculated variable when viewing the grading scheme of a question bank exercise. Now, the actual variables are shown again.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to push changes from multiple choice questions to the linked exercise in the question bank
Previously, it was not possible to add alternatives to a multiple choice question in an assignment and push those changes to the linked question bank exercise, if the new alternatives reused the same positions as in the question bank. Now, it's possible to synchronise the changes to the question bank exercise and the positions will be correctly overwritten.
-
Fixed an issue with matrices in the equation editor
Previously, when inserting a matrix via the equation editor and adding a row or column, the inserted cells would be 'linked' in some cases. This would cause the input in 1 cell to automatically be applied to another cell as well. Now, the cells are working correctly again.
-
Fixed an issue where the "Criteria group" select was not shown when there was only one criteria group during grading
Previously, when using the new grading experience and editing a criterion, you could only select a criteria group when there were at least 2 groups. Now, you can select the criteria group when there is at least one, so that you can move the criterion in or out of the criteria group.
-
Fixed an issue where the LaTeX formatting would disappear in criteria during reviewing
Previously, when using the new grading experience and selecting a criterion that uses LaTeX in its description, the LaTeX formatting would disappear. Now, the LaTeX formatting stays when selecting the criterion.
-
Fixed an issue where results with multiple attempts which were not fully graded were not exported
Previously, when exporting results where a student had multiple attempts and one of the attempts did not have a grade yet, the result would be excluded from the export. Now, the attempt with a grade is correctly exported.
-
Fixed an issue where it was no longer possible to export filtered results
In the latest release the result export has been changed to add support for no shows, but the export no longer supported exporting filtered results. Now, there is an extra option in the participants select to export filtered results.
-
Fixed an issue where sorting by user name in the results overview was not working
Previously, when sorting on users' name in the result overview, the order would be random. Now, the results are ordered correctly again.
-
Fixed an issue where repro roles could not create webhook endpoints through the API for assignments
With the August 17th release, users with a repro role were no longer able to create and manage webhook endpoints through the API. This made it impossible for repro roles to set up automations using our API. This update restores this functionality, allowing repro roles to create and manage webhook endpoints for assignments once more.
-
Fixed an issue where the PDF would occasionally not load when reviewing written assignments
Previously, generating a PDF from uploaded scans could fail if the combined PDF file was empty. This happened because the system did not check whether the resulting PDF contained any data. Now, the system verifies that the PDF is not empty before attempting to load it, ensuring that PDFs are generated and displayed correctly.
-
Fixed an issue where the new scan page would only show an error if all pages were unrecognised
Previously, when scanned pages were uploaded with incorrect settings, the system would mark them as unidentified. In such cases, an error message was shown to indicate the problem. However, if the upload also contained empty pages (for example, scrap paper with an empty answer field), these were given a different status, preventing the error message from appearing. Now, an error is shown when a scan consists of unidentified and empty pages.
-
Fixed an issue where users were unable to remove the year filter for classes
Previously, the year filter for classes could not be removed. Now, the clear button works as expected and removes the filter.
-
Fixed an issue where view only custom roles were unable to view different versions of open question answers
Previously, custom roles with only viewing rights were unable to view the different versions of answers on open questions. Now, this has been fixed so read-only roles are able to see the different versions of answers.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to edit an exercise in a hand-in assignment
Previously, clicking the "Edit" option in a hand-in assignment exercise’s dropdown menu did not open the editing options. Now, exercises in hand-in assignments can be edited again.
-
Fixed an issue with the 'Negative points' option for multiple choice questions
Previously, when clicking the 'Negative points' option in a multiple choice question, it would not make any changes to the points of the choices. Now, the 'Negative points' option correctly updates the choices that contained 0 points, to negative points.
