Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where the exercise protection rule 'Disable changing the objectives' caused a 'Content missing' error in an exercise objective
Previously, changing the objectives from the question bank exercises overview would display a 'Content missing' error if the exercise had a protection rule preventing objectives from being modified. Now, the dropdown opens correctly, allowing the objectives to be viewed without changing them.
-
Fixed an issue where students were forcibly logged out of their assignment when using the equation editor in combination with Proctorio
Previously, using the equation editor during a Proctorio-monitored test could unexpectedly log students out. This update ensures the two features now work together without interruption. This change does require the students to open/close the equation editor manually.
-
Fixed an issue where the 'Print' button was not available for bubble sheet assignments
Following the April 27th, 2025 release, the 'Print' button for bubble sheet assignments was removed, making it more difficult to download and print assignments. The button has now been restored and renamed to 'Download' to more accurately reflect its purpose.
-
Fixed an issue where participants could embed links using the Ctrl/Cmd + K shortcut while taking a digital test
Previously, the rich text editor allowed inserting links by using the Ctrl/Cmd + K keyboard shortcut in a digital test. As this allows students to embed a link and navigate to that link, we have disabled the "insert link" shortcut in a digital test.
-
Fixed an issue where the forward slash on the numpad failed to initiate typing in the search bar
Previously, the search bar could only be accessed using the forward slash on the keyboard, not the divide button on the numpad. Now, the divide button on the numpad also opens the search bar.
