Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where removing a quick comment from your user menu would make the option menu irresponsive
Previously, removing a quick comment from your list of comments would break the option menu for the remaining ones. Reloading the page would solve the issue. Now, all other comments remain functional when removing one of them.
-
The assignment log no longer includes empty entries for test instructions when creating a new assignment
Previously, the assignment log would incorrectly show that the test instructions were updated, due to the instructions being created. Now, the instructions are no longer shown as updated when a new assignment is made.
-
Fixed an issue where questions in paper-based assignments incorrectly appeared as reviewed
Previously, changing points from zero to non-zero for an unrecognised question for paper-based assignments, would cause it to be shown as reviewed. Unrecognised questions are defined as automatically graded multiple choice questions for which Ans was unable to accurately recognise the student answer. Automatically grading unrecognised questions was incorrect, as these questions may still require manual review, which could be overlooked. Now, the question will correctly be shown as not reviewed if the points are not set to 0 anymore. Impacted customers have already been contacted. If your school has not been notified by our Support team, it is not affected.
-
Fixed an issue where the criteria comment button would be linked to the previous student's answer when using the search side panel
Previously, when using the search side panel while grading, the criteria comment button would not update correctly. This caused it to still link to the previously viewed student's answer. This would make the comment appear to be given to the previous student. Now, the button updates properly, ensuring it always links to the correct student's response.
-
Fixed an issue where department administrators could see the dropdown to change employee role
Previously, department administrators would see the role dropdown on the settings page of an employee. The ability of department administrators to change employee roles was removed in a previous release, but the dropdown remained there. The dropdown has now been removed as it was no longer functional.
