Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where it was possible to create assignment timeslots without participants
Previously, it was possible to create timeslots without participants by deselecting them from the dropdown menu. Now, to ensure functionality and prevent empty selections, at least one option must always be selected.
-
Fixed an issue where Proctorio closed before students could submit their result
Previously, the Proctorio session would end when the submit button was clicked, and the user was redirected to the submit page. This allowed students to exit Proctorio before their results were officially submitted. Now, the session remains active until the result is successfully submitted.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to exit Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in scheduled assignments
Previously, it would not be possible to leave the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) when you would enter it through an assignment that you were not allowed to start yet. This has now been resolved and it is possible to exit the Safe Exam Browser before starting your attempt.
-
Fixed an issue where users would receive a 'File type not supported' message when uploading zip files in the scan page on Windows
Previously, uploading a ZIP file on the new scan page from a Windows device would result in a "File type not supported" message. This occurred because Windows uses the non-standard MIME typeapplication/x-zip-compressed
instead ofapplication/zip
. Since onlyapplication/zip
was allowed, ZIP files from Windows were rejected. Now, the file is successfully uploaded.
-
Improved the recognition of multiple choice answers of bubble sheet assignments scanned upside down
Previously, when a bubble sheet assignment was scanned upside down, the page positioning was slightly misaligned during processing, causing some answer options to be unrecognised. Now, the scan is automatically repositioned to improve the accuracy of the recognition.
-
Fixed an issue where Repro users could not view all printable assignments on the 'Print' page
Previously, users with the Repro role were unable to view printable written assignments within their school, preventing them from downloading and printing these assignments as required by their role. To address this, Repro users can now be granted access to the 'Print' page by enabling the 'Allow repros to print exams' option in the 'Employee privileges' settings.
-
Fixed an issue where large written assignments could fail to upload
Previously, written assignments with a high page count could fail to upload after being recognised due to file size limitations. This issue has now been resolved, ensuring that large files are successfully uploaded. Additionally, affected uploads have been fixed retroactively.
-
Fixed an issue where duplicate URLs were added to Safe Exam Browser (SEB) configurations
Previously, uploading and downloading a Safe Exam Browser (SEB) configuration would result in duplicate URLs being added, even if they were already present. This issue has now been resolved, ensuring that URLs in the configuration remain unique.
-
Fixed an issue where the points of appraisal forms and hand-in assignments would be incorrect when removing an exercise
Previously, the points that were shown for results of appraisal and hand-in results would not be updated after removing an exercise. Now, this has been resolved and the points are updated correctly. This had no impact on grades, besides the assignment it was reported on.
-
Fixed an issue where copying evaluation criteria retained links to the question bank of the originating grading scheme
Previously, copying evaluation criteria retained the link to a question bank, causing issues with the synchronising of the exercise. This has now been resolved, and the link is no longer copied.
