Bug fixes
-
Fixed a performance issue affecting the spreadsheet question
Previously, the spreadsheet question experienced performance issues, causing the page to slow down whenever users made changes within the spreadsheet. This was due to the process of validating each change, which involved creating and storing a separate hidden copy of the spreadsheet in memory for every validation. The issue has now been resolved by eliminating the need for a separate copy during validation, ensuring smoother performance.
-
Fixed an issue where downloading files in Proctorio incorrectly prompted a 'leaving page' warning
Previously, downloading a file from a question or description in a Proctorio-proctored digital test triggered a misleading browser warning, asking if you wanted to leave the page. Even after clicking ‘Leave,’ you stayed in the test. This issue has now been fixed, and downloads no longer trigger the warning.
-
Fixed an issue where students were unable to set up Schoolyear assignments before the start of the assignment
In Schoolyear V1, students could launch the Schoolyear assignment slightly before the official start time to ensure they had enough time to set up their environment and verify everything was working properly. However, following the upgrade to V2 last month, this option became unavailable. As a result, students needed to wait until the actual assignment start time. This fix restores the ability for students to launch Schoolyear prior to the official start time, allowing them plenty of time to set up and address any potential issues in advance.
-
Fixed an issue where the amount of discussions shown in the discussions side panel was incorrect
Previously, an issue prevented viewing discussions from all tabs ('Open', 'Closed', and 'Drafts') in the side panel when navigating to the grading screen via the chips in the review overview. To see closed discussions, it was only possible if all the discussions were closed. This has now been fixed, and all discussions per exercise are available at all times.
-
Fixed an issue where synchronising multiple choice questions could fail
Previously, synchronising multiple choice questions via the synchronise assignments feature or the new version available button could fail, if a question alternative used the fixed position option. Now, synchronising multiple choice questions works as intended.
