Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where filtering by "Without objectives" did not work
Previously, selecting "Without objectives" in the question bank exercise overview showed an empty list, even if exercises had no objectives. The filter now works correctly, displaying exercises without objectives as expected.
-
Fixed an issue where certain programming languages could not be selected in the code editor question
Previously, when selecting the answer language for a code editor question, the top options could be hidden by the top of the panel. The dropdown menu has now been fixed to ensure all language options remain visible.
-
Increased the scope of our content security policy to allow Ans to be used in all Pruefster environments
Previously, Ans could only be used within the Pruefster production environment. Attempting to integrate Ans with Pruefster's testing environment would result in a content security policy (CSP) violation. With this update, we have increased the scope of of permitted Pruefster domains, allowing Ans to be integrated into Pruefster testing environments as well.
-
Fixed a performance issue on the mark calculation page of question bank assignments
Previously, the mark calculation page for question bank assignments linked to multiple course assignments could experience slow performance and display duplicate variable names. This issue has now been resolved to improve page speed and prevent duplicate names from the list of available variables.
-
Fixed an issue where users could delete courses via the API even though their custom role did not permit it
Previously, when using the Ans API with custom roles, employees could delete courses even if their assigned roles did not permit it. This update ensures that the Ans API now fully respects custom role permissions, strictly enforcing the permissions as defined.
-
Fixed an issue where staff members were able to create, update and delete classes
In the 13th of October release notes, we stated that only administrators could manage classes. However, staff members were still able to create, update, and delete classes, and department operators could still add users to classes. With this update, permissions now align with the changelog: only administrators can manage classes. Department administrators can view classes within their department, and staff members can only view classes to which they are assigned as instructors.
