Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where images in the question's content was not imported when importing a hotspot match question using the QTI format
When importing a hotspot match question in QTI (positionObjectInteraction), images that were included in the question content–outside of the interaction's image–would not be imported. This has been fixed and images are now imported into the question's content.
-
Fixed an issue with the grading scheme indicator for questions with negative points, "automatic scoring" or "start with zero" in the grading scheme
In the latest release, we introduced a counter to show the number of questions with completed grading schemes. However, we encountered an issue where the grading scheme indicator incorrectly displayed the amount for questions with negative points, automatic scoring enabled or start with zero disabled. The grading scheme indicator will now display the correct amount for these three scenarios.
-
Fixed an issue with the grading scheme indicator for numeric questions
Previously, when a numeric question with a variable was used, the grading scheme count would display that it was incomplete, the grading scheme will now correctly display the completed status when questions contain a variable.
-
Fixed an issue with the grading scheme indicator for questions with rubric type grading scheme
In the latest release, we introduced a counter to show the number of questions with completed grading schemes. However, we encountered an issue with the 'Rubric with levels' grading type, where a weight other than 1 incorrectly indicated an incomplete grading scheme. This issue has been resolved, and now the grading scheme will accurately display the completed amount in these two scenarios.
-
Fixed an issue where participants from other assignments or course would incorrectly display on the taking page
Previously, it could occur that participants from other courses or assignments would be incorrectly displayed at the taking overview of an assignment. This was just a visual issue. This would occur after navigating from the taking page of an assignment where the participants' progress changed. Now, only the relevant participants will be displayed at the taking overview.
-
Fixed an issue where the Safe Exam Browser download link for MacOS no longer worked
The download link for the latest Safe Exam Browser version for MacOS has been updated, as the previous link was no longer functional. The Safe Exam Browser version 3.2.5 download link has been deprecated, so the link now directs to the latest version, 3.3.3.
-
Fixed an issue where grading boxes were missing when grading a written assignment
Previously, grading written assignments created before September 2023 sometimes lacked visible grading boxes. This issue has been resolved, and now grading boxes are consistently displayed for all written assignments.
-
Fixed an issue where the answers from automatically graded questions would not be scored in peer reviews
Previously, in peer review assignments, automatically graded questions were sometimes not scored for peer reviews. While the participant's original result was scored correctly, the copy used for peer review lacked the automatic scoring. Now automatically graded questions are correctly scored during peer reviews.
-
Fixed an issue that prevented sorting exported results by first and last name
Previously, it was not possible to export results sorted by first and last name. Sorting can once again be applied as usual.
-
Fixed an issue where the result log showed 'Submitted this result' instead of 'Moved to busy'
Previously, when a student was moved from done to busy in the assignment taking overview, this would be misidentified as the result being submitted again in the logs. We now make a distinction between the two, showing when a student was moved to busy in the result log.
-
Fixed an issue where the preview of a written assignment would not load due to LaTeX error
After the most recent release, the preview for some written assignments containing ordered and unordered lists would fail with a LaTeX error. This issue has been fixed, and lists can now be used inside of the question content without issue.
-
Fixed an issue where no error message was shown for unsupported GIFs
Previously, when a GIF was added in an unsupported way to a written assignment, no error message was shown to indicate what went wrong. Now, we will give an error message indicating to the user that the image is not supported.
-
Fixed an issue where empty paragraphs at the beginning of a choice caused the preview to not load
Previously, if a choice in a multiple choice question began with an empty html paragraph, it would cause the preview to fail due to a LaTeX error. Now, these empty paragraphs will be removed, allowing the preview to properly load.
