Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue with generating a question bank assignment randomised per participant when a tag filter was applied
Previously, generating a question bank assignment using a blueprint with a checked tag filter and a maximum value differing from the indicated maximum value, would result in an error. Now, generating an assignment this way will not produce any errors.
-
Fixed an issue where removing a question bank assignment would cause question bank exercises added in unrelated course assignments to be unlinked from their question bank exercise counterpart
The issue occurred in situations where a question bank exercise was present in a course assignment and a question bank assignment that was copied to one or more courses. When the question bank assignment was removed, the exercises in the course assignments would be unlinked from the specific question bank exercise, even if the course assignment was not a copy of the question bank assignment. This fix will keep the exercises in unrelated course assignments linked to their question bank exercise counterpart. -
Fixed an issue where disabling "Allow employees to invite students" would also prohibit employees from inviting other employees
Previously, disabling the "Allow employees to invite students" option in the employee privileges, it inadvertently restricted employees from inviting staff members, regardless of whether the "Allow employees to invite staff" option was enabled. Now, disabling the "Allow employees to invite students" option no longer affects employees' ability to invite staff.
-
Fixed an issue where fixed positions were ignored during generating but used during grading when shuffle choices was enabled
In the previous release, we fixed an issue which unfortunately lead to a new issue where multiple choice options with fixed positions did not have their positions used when shuffling was enabled. This led to incorrect automatic grading, as the grading expected the fixed positions to be used. This fix ensures that the fixed positions are properly used. The full post mortem can be found here. The impacted schools have already been contacted.
-
Fixed an issue where clicking the "Save and Next" button would not always navigate to the next scan error
Previously, the "Save and Next" button in the "Missing pages" window would sometimes fail to navigate to the next scan error. The button's behaviour has been improved to ensure smoother navigation.
-
Fixed an issue where it was only possible to set an absolute margin of 100 for numerical questions
Previously, the maximum margin value for the 'absolute' margin type was set to 100. However, it should have allowed for a maximum value of up to 99,999.99999. This has been corrected so that the maximum margin value dynamically adjusts based on the selected margin type: 100 for 'percentage' and 99,999.99999 for 'absolute'.
-
Fixed an issue where the search functionality in the grading overview would not yield results for group assignments if 'Review anonymously' was disabled
Previously, when using the search function during grading for group assignments where 'Review anonymous' was disabled, no results would be displayed, neither with the filter nor in the history. Now, when opening the search during the review process for group assignments, the names of the groups will be displayed.
