Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where the question bank import would skip importing question banks and questions
Previously, when importing a question bank with the same name as a deleted one, and selecting either the "Add to existing question banks" or "Override question bank content" options, the import process would skip importing the question banks and questions altogether. Now, the import process disregards deleted question banks and successfully imports both question banks and questions, as intended.
-
Fixed an issue with copying and pasting marking formulas into the mark calculation
Previously, copying and pasting marking formulas would only paste until the first variable of the formula. Now, the entire formula is correctly pasted.
-
Fixed an issue where the points for flow groups using the mark variable did not apply when guess correction was enabled
Previously, when the mark variable "Obtained points from flow group..." was used and guess correction was enabled for the assignment, the guess correction for the total points received by the participant would be applied during the mark calculation, instead of only the points obtained within the flow group. Now, the points from the flow group are factored into the mark calculation. This issue only affected a single assignment, and the administrator was notified.

Fixed an issue where the points for flow groups using the mark variable did not apply when guess correction was enabled
-
Fixed an issue where attempting to update a timeslot would result in an incorrect redirect
Previously, if a user lacked permission to modify the exercises of a scheduled assignment, attempting to access the assignment could result in redirection to a placeholder page. This page would restrict their access to parts of the assignment for which they did have permission. This redirect has been fixed.
-
Fixed an issue where certain special characters were not supported in user names
We have expanded the list of permitted characters in user names to include the following unicode sets:
- Latin-1 Supplement
- Latin Extended-A
- Latin Extended-B
- Greek and Coptic
- Combining Diacritical Marks
- Cyrillic
- Latin Extended Additional
- Latin Extended-D
-
Fixed an issue where certain special characters were not supported in course and assignment names
The equals '=' and at '@' symbols can now be used when naming courses and assignments.
-
Fixed an issue where too many requests to the same url could cause availability issues
As a safety measure, we now only allow updating the same record five times per minute when using the API. We do not anticipate users being affected by this change unless their API usage involves frequent unnecessary or unintentional calls.
