Added the possibility to edit the result number for easier navigation during grading
This feature has been including in this weeks patch release to replace a functionality that was lost due to changes made to the search functionality in our previous release of February 4th.
Previously, it was possible to navigate to specific result numbers using the result number at the top of the page. This functionality was removed in the previous release. In response to your feedback, we added the possibility to alter the result number by clicking on it and typing the desired result number in order to navigate to it.
Bug fixes
-
Fixed issue where zoom options of the pdf preview did not correctly display the percentage
Previously, the correct percentages were not shown in the zoom options of the pdf preview. The percentage zoom levels are now correctly shown when adjusting the the zoom level in the pdf viewer.
-
Fixed an issue where gap dropdown options in a fill-in question were imported without their content when importing with QTI
When importing a fill-in question with the dropdown options shown using the QTI format, the content of the answer options would be imported as an enumeration, instead of the actual content from the files. This has been fixed and the content in the answer options are now properly imported.
-
Fixed an issue where participants could navigate to other assignments while using Schoolyear
Previously, participants in a Schoolyear browser session were able to navigate within the platform to other pages, including other digital tests that also had Schoolyear enabled. When another digital test was taken, the result would be stored in the Schoolyear session of the first digital test rather than the second. This has been fixed and participants within a Schoolyear browser session will no longer be able to start tests that were not launched with the correct link. Participants, will instead be redirected to the test that was used to launch the current Schoolyear browser session. In the case where a participant logs out and back in, they will be required to restart the Schoolyear session before being able to start or resume the test.
-
Fixed an issue where the ratio of the page would reset when navigating during grading
Previously, when navigating to the next or previous submission during grading, the ratio set on the page would reset.
-
Exercise boxes on the review overview will not be shown if an exercise contains no reviewable questions
Previously, when there were no questions within an exercise that could be graded, such as in cases where the question was set to disabled or full points, the exercise box would display only the exercise name and no other content. To avoid confusion, the exercise box will now be removed completely from the review overview.
-
Fixed an issue where the ordering of exercises was incorrect in the results overview
In some cases, the enumeration of exercises on the exercises tab of the result overview page would appear in the incorrect order. This issue has now been resolved to ensure that exercises are displayed in the correct order on this overview.
-
Fixed an issue where numerical questions left answered were incorrectly interpreted as answered with a value of 0
Previously, when a participant did not answer a numerical question, it would incorrectly compare the correct answer as if 0 had been answered. We have resolved this, ensuring that unanswered numerical questions are automatically marked as incorrect.
-
Fixed an issue where mathematical equation questions would not show the answer for equations with more than two possible solutions
Automatic grading for mathematical equation questions was not able to properly show the solutions for questions with more than two equations in the answer. We have improved the way we process these solutions, allowing for equations with three or more solutions to also be graded automatically.
-
Fixed an issue where certain users were unable to generate forms in specific time zones
Users in time zones outside of the Netherlands were not able to generate forms for a written assignment due to a failing validation. Users should now be able to properly generate forms, regardless of their timezone.
-
Improved grading navigation
Following changes to the grading navigation in our previous release of February 4th, we received valuable feedback from our users that some workflows were not taken into account. In response to this, we have made enhancements to the navigation and grading progress visibility in our grading interface.Previously, navigating between previously graded and current items could feel unnatural, particularly when users expected a simpler way to access their graded items. To address this, the top navigation bar now consistently displays all results, regardless of whether you are grading ungraded, graded, or all questions.
This has changed from the previous release where the navigation bar would display the number of results remaining only in the ungraded overview, leading to confusion for some users. Now, you can seamlessly navigate between previously graded and current questions regardless of the applied filters..
-
Removed the old "Next discussion" button in grading overview
In the previous release, we updated the navigation method for discussions within the grading overview. This included introducing new buttons for moving to the next discussion. However, the old "Next discussion" button was not removed from the discussions panel. We have now removed the outdated button from the interface.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to navigate to questions which contained special characters
When viewing results, it was not possible to navigate to the next question if the previous question or the next question contained a special character in the question content. This has now been fixed and special characters do not impact the grading navigation.
