Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where QTI 2.X Ans export and import caused extra white space in alternatives and alternatives to be pinned
Previously, when importing QTI 2.X questions, extra<div>tags were always added to some fields, such as the choice alternatives' content. This could cause duplicate<div>tags if those<div>tags were already present. Now, the import will not add<div>tags unless necessary.
-
Fixed an issue where the exercises link did not work in the question bank label settings page
Previously, clicking the exercises link in the question bank label settings page redirected users to an error page. Now, the link correctly redirects to the question bank exercises overview with the label filter applied.
-
Fixed an issue where you could not switch to the new grading experience if no grading scheme was added to the question
Previously, switching to the new grading experience during the review process was not possible for questions without a grading scheme. Now, reviewers can switch to the new grading experience even when no grading scheme has been added.
-
Fixed an issue where the guess score for multiple response questions where 'start with zero points' was disabled was incorrect
Previously, the system incorrectly included the scenario where no options were selected when calculating the average guess score for multiple-response questions where “start with zero points” was disabled. Because unanswered questions were treated as receiving the maximum score in this scenario, the calculated guess score could become inflated. This has been corrected by excluding the permutation where no checkboxes are selected from the total points that can be earned. As a result, the guess score now more accurately reflects how the platform handles unanswered questions. More information can be found here. The impacted schools have been informed.

Fixed an issue where identity provider certificates could become outdated
Ans previously retrieved its IdP certificates once a week, every Sunday. If an identity provider published a new certificate during the week, Ans would not detect the change until the following Sunday, which could prevent users from logging in via SSO. With this update, Ans checks for new certificates more frequently, reducing the risk of certificate mismatches and login issues.

Restored search bar when linking Brightspace to an Ans assignment
Previously, the search bar was missing when adding a Brightspace LTI link to an Ans assignment, requiring users to scroll through a long list of courses. The search bar is now available again, allowing users to quickly find and select the correct course.
