An exercise is a part of an assignment, in which you explain what you expect from a student. Exercises can either be created and/or added from a question bank or created from within a course assignment.
When creating a new exercise you will first need to give the exercise a name. After the exercise is named, a description and questions can be added.
-
Description
A description can be added to your exercise to explain the objective or give more background information about the question(s) you are adding to your exercise. A description can come in the form of audio, code, text, image and video. Adding a description to your exercise is recommended but not required. Read more about the description types here.
-
Questions
After creating an exercise, you can add one or multiple questions to it. Each question type has its own specific properties. A question is part of an exercise which is used to acquire an answer from the student. Different question types can be used within the same exercise. You can find an overview of possible question types here.
