In the review options, you have the possibility to configure the grading method, privacy settings and grading adjustments.
To set the review options, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to your assignment.
- Click settings Settings in the menu at the top.
- Click Review options in the menu on the left.
- Select the review options that apply.
Grading method
-
Grading method (Digital tests only)
By default, the grading method is set to Review. Instructors and assigned reviewers can review the submissions of the participants. Click the dropdown menu to select Self review or Peer review. With Self review, students can review their digital test directly after submitting it. However, it is also possible to do this at a later moment.
The dropdown menu is visible in case no participants have started the assignment.
-
Second review [Campus]
This option is part of the Campus plan. If this option is enabled, all submissions are required to be reviewed by a second reviewer.
Privacy
-
Grade anonymously
If this option is enabled, participants' names are not visible during grading. The option is enabled by default. For written assignments, this option ensures the cover page does not load, preserving the anonymity of participants' names. When enabled, it is not possible to search for a result during grading.
Adjustments to grading
-
Adjustments to question points
Allow adjusting of awarded points for a question during grading. If you need to deviate from the grading scheme, you can use the option to make adjustments to question points to either award or deduct points from a question. Adjustments to question points are possible for all question types. This option is turned on by default.
-
Use same grading
Use the same grading for identical submissions. Participants that have identical answers will be awarded the same amount of points. After grading the first participants, the same grade will apply to all participants with identical answers so you do not need to grade those answers individually. 'Use same grading' only applies to open questions (in a digital test) and code editor questions. This option is turned on by default. Same grading is only applied within the same assignment, and not between copies.
