Grading method
-
Grading method (Digital tests only)
By default, the grading method is set to Review. Instructors and assigned reviewers can review the submissions of the participants. Click the dropdown menu to select Self review or Peer review. The dropdown menu is visible in case no participants have started the assignment.
-
Grading method (Written assignments only)
The grading method for written assignments is to Review digitally by default. By using this option it is possible to review written assignments digitally, in the same way as digital assignments are reviewed. Use the dropdown menu to change the grading method to Review on paper. If this method is used, for all questions that aren't graded automatically an extra textbox is printed where the reviewer can fill in the score on paper. After scanning the exams, the reviewer can add extra comments digitally.
-
Second review (If enabled)
At this moment, this option is only available through the closed beta. An administrator from your school can contact our support team to have it enabled. If this option is enabled, all submissions are required to be reviewed by a second reviewer.
Privacy
-
Grade anonymously
If this option is turned on, student numbers aren't visible during grading. The option is enabled by default. For written assignments, the cover page of the assignment isn't loaded, so the student number cannot be found manually.
Adjustments to grading
-
Adjustments to question points
Allow adjusting of awarded points for a question during grading. If you need to deviate from the grading scheme, you can use the option to make adjustments to question points to either award or deduct points from a question. Adjustments to question points are possible for all question types. This option is turned on by default.
-
Use same grading
Use the same grading for identical submissions. Participants that have identical answers will be awarded the same amount of points. After grading the first participants, the same grade will apply to all participants with identical answers so you don't need to grade those answers individually. 'Use same grading' only applies to open questions (in a digital test) and code editor questions. This option is turned on by default.
