Ouriginal is a similarity detection solution that combines text-matching with writing-style analysis to promote academic integrity and help prevent plagiarism. The Ouriginal integration can be used for digital tests and hand-in assignments. If a license has been acquired for Ouriginal, you can ask Ouriginal to enable the integration for Ans.

Once Ouriginal has enabled the integration, you can set up the configuration by following the steps below. The set up can only be done by an administrator.

The Ouriginal integration is now configured on school level. After this has been done, the integration can be used for digital tests and hand-in assignments. When you navigate back to you school settings, you will find the Ouriginal integration in a separate menu option below all other school settings. From the Ouriginal settings it is possible to remove the integration. Only administrators can remove the integration.

In the Ouriginal settings on the school level, you will also see the option Send email. When this setting is enabled, participants will receive a confirmation email from Ouriginal that their submission has been received. Student email addresses will not be shared with Ouriginal if this setting is disabled.
