- Explore - 10 MB per file
- Collaborate - 25 MB per file
- Campus - 25 MB per file
Things to know:
- The limit is set at the beginning of the academic year and can only be increased during the year.
- Ans does not offer a way to track which results have larger files or how long these files, along with their associated results, are stored.
- The increase in the upload limit applies to all users within the organisation (students and staff), allowing them to upload larger files.
- The total number of documents uploaded always remains uncertain within Ans.
Pricing
€ 0,25 per user / 100 MB per year for a higher upload limit + fair usage policy*.
€ 1,- per user / 500 MB per year for a higher upload limit + fair usage policy*.
If a school wishes to increase the upload limit to 100 MB / 500 MB per user per year, they would need to pay an additional €0.25 / €1.00 per user per year. For example, for 25,000 users, the cost would be €6,250 / €25,000 per year. After increasing the limit, users can upload files up to 100 MB / 500 MB per file instead of the default 10 MB / 25 MB.
lightbulb_outline *The Customer is expected to make reasonable use of the increased limit. Reasonable use means that the total data storage per year does not exceed the number of students multiplied by the limit per student. For example, if there are 20,000 students and the upload limit per student is 1 gigabyte (GB), then a total data storage of up to 20,000 GB per year is considered reasonable use.
