A school period is an attribute that can be linked to a course. School periods will help you create a better overview of your courses, for example if you have a lot of courses in your school. If you have no school periods defined on school level, it's not possible to add them to your courses. If you have defined school periods, it is mandatory to use them when creating a new course. A course can have one or more school periods. If you have created a course, the school period will be visible behind the name of the course in the course overview. Next to that, Ans offers a filter in the course overview which allows you to view all courses of one or more school periods.
First, you'll need to create school periods. You can do this by following the steps below.
- Click the domainSchool name in the menu on the left.
- Click settingsSettings in the menu at the top.
- Click School periods in the menu on the left.
- Click Add period and fill in a name
- Repeat the previous step for all school periods that you want to add.
You have now added the school periods. When you add a new course, you'll now have to choose one or more school periods. In the overview of your courses, the name of the period (or periods) linked to the course is visible. You can filter this overview by using the periods filter at the top.
