error_outline LTI 1.2 was removed on the 27th of August 2023. IMS Global stopped supporting version 1.2 on June 30, 2022.
If you would like to set up the Blackboard integration for an assignment, you will need a LTI-link. This LTI link is generated from Blackboard. Linking your assignment will allow your students to open the assignment through your LMS. Once the assignment has finished, you are also able to synchronise the results from within Ans.
Create a link for an assignment with LTI 1.3
To create a LTI-link for an assignment, follow the steps below.
- Set up the Blackboard integration on school level in Ans.
- Sign in to Blackboard.
- Click Courses in the menu at the top and select your course.
- Click Content in the menu on the left.
- Click the dropdown menu Build content at the top and select your LTI label.
This label was created in step 11 under 'Finalise the setup in Blackboard'. In this case the label is Ans.
- Fill in the name of your assignment.
- Select Enable Evaluation under Grading. If this option is disabled, the students will not have access to the test.
- Click Submit.
- Click the link you just created.
- Select the course and then the assignment you want to link.
