Within a written assignment, you have the possibility to enrol students. This can be regarded as an extra safety measure to ensure the correct students have taken the assignment.
- Click domain School name in the menu on the left.
- Click folder Courses in the menu at the top.
- Select your course or use the search bar.
- Select your assignment or use the search bar.
- Click settings Settings in the menu at the top.
- Click Enrolments in the menu on the left.
- Click Import and select a .CSV, .XLS, or .XLSX file from your computer that contains the student numbers of the participants that are enrolled for the written assignment.
When the results of the written assignment have been uploaded, the policy Results page will indicate students who are not on the list of enrolments. This will be indicated with an event_busy -icon next to the result. It is also possible to filter on not enrolled participants by clicking on the All filter and select 'Not enrolled participants'.
From the assignment settings, enrolments can be validated. This allows you to enrol students who were not on the enrolments list, or to assign the result to another student. This can be used in case a student enters their student number wrong on the cover page of the assignment.
Follow the steps below to validate enrolments.
- Navigate to your assignment.
- Click settings Settings in the menu at the top.
- Click Enrolments in the menu on the left.
- Click Validate enrolments.
By clicking Validate enrolments in the Enrolments in the settings Settings, you can enrol students who are not on the list.
A dialog will appear in which you can validate the student number of the students that did take the assignment but are not on the list of enrolments. If recognised, the student number will be automatically filled in. In case of an unknown student, for example if an assignment without a name or student number was uploaded, it needs to be resolved by entering a non-existing student number. The student number should be the same length of the student number length that is determined on school level. If your school has a designated "Unknown student" account, you need to enter the name or student number of that account. Click on Resolve to verify the enrolment.
When all not enrolled students are validated, they will be added to the list of enrolled students. The event_busy -icon will no longer appear next to the result.
