The bubble sheet assignment is a paper-based assignment type for multiple choice exams. Students can answer the question by colouring the answer of their choice. Exam questions are not included in the bubble sheet assignment. They will need to be created and printed separately.

To create a bubble sheet assignment, follow the steps below.
- Click the School name in the menu on the left.
- Click on Courses in the menu at the top.
- Click on your course or use the search bar.
- Click on New assignment and fill in the name of the assignment. If you use assignment templates, click the dropdown menu No template and select your template.
- Select Bubble sheet.
- Click Create.

- From the home page, click on New assignment on the right of the page.
- Select your course or use the search bar.
- Enter the name of the assignment.
- Optionally, select an assignment template by clicking the dropdown menu No template.
- Select Bubble sheet.
- Click Create.

After creating a bubble sheet assignment and setting the number of questions and alternatives, you can select which answer options are correct and set the number of points for each correct answer.
- Select your assignment or use the search bar.
- Check the box for the correct answer per question.
- Fill in the number of points for each correct answer.
- Click the -icon to specify the points awarded to different answer options independently or to enable or disable 'Limit minimum to zero points'.
- Optionally, add learning objectives to a question by clicking on the - -icon next to the question and select the applicable learning objective from the list. If there are no learning objectives added to the course, the icon is not visible.

After creating a bubble sheet assignment, you can customise the layout. This includes adjusting the number of questions and alternatives. The maximum amount of questions you can have in a bubble sheet assignment is 60.
- Navigate to your bubble sheet assignment.
- Click the dropdown menu Test configuration in the top right of the Preview.
- Click Edit questions.
- Enter the number of questions and the number of alternatives and click Save.
- Click the dropdown menu Customise layout again and select Edit layout
- Select the options that you would like for your layout and click Update.
