Use a Brightspace LTI-link in your assignment

To create a LTI-link for an assignment, follow the steps below.

1. Set up the Brightspace integration on school level in Ans.
2. Sign in to Brightspace.
3. Click Settings in the top right corner.
4. Click on LTI Advantage Deployment and click View Links. 
5. Click New Link.

6. Fill in your preferred name.
7. Enter your personal Launch link from Ans.

8. Keep the selection of the dropdown menu on Deep Linking Quicklink.
9. The Width & Height can be left empty or set to a preferred size.
10. Click Save and Close.
11. Go back to your Brightspace homepage
12. Select your Course in Brightspace.
13. Click Add Existing in the top right.

14. Select External Tool Activity.

15. Select the tool you just created under Third Party.
16. Select the course in Ans that you want to link.

17. Select the assignment in Ans that you want to link.

18. The link has been created.

If you need to check and/or uninstall the LTI-link, you can do so by following the steps below. 

1. Click your domain School name in the menu on the left.
2. Click label_important Courses in the menu at the top.
3. Select your course or use the search bar.
4. Select your assignment or use the search bar. 
5. Click on the settings Settings tab.
6. Scroll down to your integrations (not the tab named Integrations) in the left menu.
7. Click on your Brightspace LTI-link. You are now able to remove the LTI-link by uninstalling it. 

Once you have set up the integration for an assignment and received an LTI-link, you can synchronise the results.

To synchronise the results, follow the steps below.

1. Click your domain School name in the menu on the left.
2. Click label_important Courses in the menu at the top.
3. Select your course or use the search bar.
4. Select your assignment or use the search bar. 
5. Click beenhere Results in the menu at the top.
6. Click on Send marks to LMS.
