Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where the case sensitive option for fill in the gaps question could not be toggled after the assignment has been taken
Previously, it was not possible to toggle the 'case sensitive' option for fill-in-the-gaps questions after the test had been taken. Now, the option can be toggled again.
-
Fixed an issue where trashed (alpha)numeric gaps were still taken into account for guess correction
Previously, guess correction was not consistently applied to certain fill-in-the-gap questions, specifically when such questions contained hidden (alpha)numeric gaps. More information can be found here.
-
Fixed an issue where students without a session appeared in the search results on the sessions page
Previously, students that were not assigned to any timeslots, but were a learner in the course would show up in the search results as 'not started' on the new taking page. Now, these students are no longer shown when searching. Only students that are assigned to a timeslot will be shown.
-
Fixed an issue where you could annotate attachments during a digital test
Previously, it was possible to annotate PDF attachments on a digital test while taking it. This would result in an annotation that did not always persist, since this is not a supported feature. Instead of annotating, you should be able to select text on an attachment while taking digital tests. Now, you can select text once again and annotating is completely disabled while taking a digital test.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to annotate an open question answer
Previously, in some rare cases, the student's answer to an open question in a digital test did not contain any HTML tags, making it impossible to annotate the answer. Now, the answer will be wrapped in an<div>tag to ensure it always has the HTML tag needed to annotate.
-
Fixed an issue where ReadSpeaker was unable to translate content if the user's language was different from the content
Previously, ReadSpeaker could incorrectly assume that a digital test’s content matched the student’s selected Ans language. As a result, students could see the warning:"You have selected the language the text is already in (undefined). Please choose another language to translate into."This happened, for example, when a student had set Ans to English while the test content was actually in Dutch. When the student then tried to translate the content to English, ReadSpeaker treated the content as if it were already English and showed the warning instead of translating it.
Now, ReadSpeaker uses the language selected in the ReadSpeaker settings as the language of the digital test content.
-
Fixed an issue where preview results counted towards question bank statistics
Previously, recalculations of statistics in the question bank would take preview results into account. This meant that the statistics could differ from the value they should have received. Now, preview results are always excluded from future calculations, so that they only represent results that were taken by participants of the assignment.
-
Removed the courses and question banks response from user for staff members when using the API
Prevously, when a staff member used the API to view a user, the response would contain all the courses and question banks the user has access to. Now, this information is no longer available for staff members, which matches the information shown in the interface.
-
Fixed an issue where the section title and description were not added in written assignments if 'Show exercise title' was disabled
Previously, when enabling the option to show the section title and description, but disabling the 'Show exercise title' option, the section information would not be included in the written assignment. Now, these options work correctly independent of each other.
-
Fixed an issue where using the promille sign was printed as a percentage sign in written assignments
Previously, when using the promille sign (‰) in a written assignment, a percentage sign (%) would be printed as the font does not support a promille sign. Now, the promille sign is printed correctly by using a similar font that does support the promille sign.
