Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where unnecessary ellipses appeared in questions and on the results page
Previously, ellipses (...) could appear after multiple-choice answer options or on the results page even when no additional content was hidden. Ellipses are now only displayed when there is more content to show.
-
Fixed an issue where adding a question to a section would cause it to receive an incorrect position in the assignment
Previously, when a question was added to a section in a question bank assignment, its position was determined based on the total number of questions in the assignment rather than the number of questions in that specific section. As a result, questions could be placed lower than intended, leading to incorrect ordering. Questions are now correctly positioned when added to a section within a question bank assignment.
-
Fixed an issue where order questions were incorrectly converted when added to written assignments
Previously, the conversion applied to questions added to a written assignment differed depending on whether they came from a digital test or from a question bank exercise. This inconsistency has been resolved so that the same conversion logic is now applied in all cases.
-
Fixed an issue where it was possible that students received the same variables in a written assignment even though randomness was applied
Previously, when random variables were used, in rare cases students received the same randomized variables. Now, the randomization works as intended, and students are correctly assigned different variables.
-
Fixed an issue where clicking on a rubric criterion in an appraisal form made the open text field disappear
Previously, when selecting a rubric criterion while reviewing an appraisal form that included an open question, the open question would disappear. To make it reappear, the page had to be reloaded. Now, this issue has been resolved and open questions remain visible when selecting a rubric criterion.
-
Fixed an issue where navigation tabs on the result page were visible even without a publication
Previously, the navigation tabs on the results page were displayed even when no publication was scheduled. Although the tab content correctly indicated that no publication was available, the tabs themselves should not have been visible. Now, the tabs are only shown when the student has access to them through a scheduled publication.
-
Fixed an issue where moving a student from Submitted to Busy incorrectly marked the user performing the action as the reviewer
Previously, if a user moved a student who had left an open question empty from “Submitted” to “Busy,” the user was incorrectly shown as the reviewer who graded the question, even though no grading had occurred. Now, changing a student’s taking state in the assignment no longer marks the user as the reviewer for that question.
-
Fixed an issue where custom role users without permission to create timeslots were shown an “access denied” screen when moving participants from Submitted to Busy
Previously, attempting to move a student session into the “Submitted” column incorrectly required the "create timeslot" permission, preventing users with restricted roles from performing the action. This has been fixed so that moving student sessions now correctly depends on the "edit timeslot" permission instead.
-
Fixed an issue where students would get logged out in the Safe Exam Browser on iPad
Previously, students could get logged out of the Safe Exam Browser when participating in an assignment on the iPad. Now, the students correctly remain logged in.
-
Restored the audio recording option in the test instruction text editor for digital tests
Previously, the audio recording option was no longer available within the test instruction text editor of digital tests. The functionality has now been restored.
