Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where the QTI 3.0 tag import was set too strict
Previously the QTI 3.0 import could sometimes fail without warning due to the expectation of tags being present in the file, even when they were not present, or in a different format than expected. Now, this has been resolved so the import will no longer fail without letting the user know anything about the reason for failure.
-
Fixed issues with the QTI 2.1 importer
Previously, positionObjectInteractions were imported as hotspot match questions, instead of hotspot questions. Additionally, having multiple hotspot markers was not supported, whereas it has been added now. Lastly, if an image was added inside an<a>tag, the image would not be imported. This has also been fixed now.
-
Fixed an issue where match columns and rows were lost when converting a match question to or from a statement question
Previously, when converting a match question to a statement question or vice versa, the rows and columns would be removed when saving the question. Now, the row and columns are retained.
-
Fixed an issue where adjusting an answer alternative and reloading the page without saving first would not remember the previously selected alternative
Previously, in multiple choice question with the 'all or nothing' grading method, selecting an answer alternative and reloading the page without saving the changes resulted in the last answer alternative being selected. This update ensures the selected answer is remembered between page reloads.
-
Fixed an issue where the exercise was out of sync when copied from a question bank to a course assignment
Previously, an exercise was marked with 'Latest version' to indicate it was out of sync, when it was added from a question bank to a course assignment. This update ensures this is no longer the case.
-
Fixed an issue where 504 errors from Schoolyear could cause Ans to create multiple Schoolyear exams
Previously, when Schoolyear would slow down due to a big load on their system, it would send Ans error codes indicating that the request would need to be sent again. Instead of retrying, Ans would create a new exam entry. Now, Ans correctly understands these errors and retries the request where needed, only creating a new Schoolyear exam when it's actually required.
-
Fixed an issue where it was not possible to add annotations to uploaded files in a digital test
Previously, when reviewing a digital test with an upload question, annotating would not be possible if the first question of the test was automatically graded. Now, the annotation works as expected.
-
Fixed an issue where uploading multiple scan files for the same student could prevent results from being created
Previously, assigning multiple scanned forms to the same student could prevent the system from creating results in a written assignment. This was due to strict rules about having multiple attempts in an assignment, which shouldn't be applied to paper-based assignments. This update fixes that issue for paper-based assignments.
-
Fixed an issue where students would get logged out of digital tests when using Safe Exam Browser with a countdown timer
Previously, when a student started a digital test using Safe Exam Browser (SEB) with the countdown timer enabled, they were immediately logged out upon entering the test. This issue only occurred when Single Sign-On (SSO) was configured at the school level. The root cause was that the original browser session remained active in the background with the countdown timer running. When the timer reached zero, the page refreshed and triggered a background redirect that re-authenticated the user. This interfered with the SEB session and caused the student to be logged out. Now, the background page refresh no longer occurs, ensuring that the SEB session remains active.
