Once the Ouriginal integration has been configured, you can start using it in your assignment.
After configuring the Ouriginal integration, you will need to enable it in the settings of your assignment.
For digital tests, we submit answers to open questions with 20 or more words, images uploaded inside an open question, files uploaded in a file upload question and answers to code questions.
To enable Ouriginal, follow the steps below.
- Click on your course or use the search bar in the Courses-section.
- Click on your assignment or use the search bar.
- Click settings Settings in the menu at the top.
- Click Integrations in the menu on the left.
- Click Enable next to Ouriginal.
- Optionally, check the box Show plagiarism significance, to allow students to see the plagiarism significance of their documents when the results are published.
If Ouriginal wasn't enabled before the student took the test, it's possible to enable this afterwards. However, the results then need to be manually send to Ouriginal. You can do this by following the steps below:
- Click on your course or use the search bar in the Courses-section.
- Click on your assignment or use the search bar.
- Click on settings Settings in the menu at the top.
- Click on Ouriginal at the the bottom of the menu on the left.
- Click on the button Submit to Ouriginal
In order for the submitted answers or files to be sent to Ouriginal for plagiarism analysis, your file or submission must adhere so certain requirements, which are as follows:
Supported file extensions: ‘.doc’, ‘.docx’, ‘.sxw’, ‘.ppt’, ‘.pptx’, ‘.pdf’, ‘.txt’, ‘.rtf’, ‘.html’, ‘.htm’, ‘.wps’, ‘.odt’
Maximum allowed file size: The largest size a file is allowed to be is 20 MBs.
Minimum text content: The smallest amount of characters accepted by Ouriginal is 430.
