Once the Ouriginal integration has been configured, you can start using the integration in your assignment. You will first need to enable the integration in the settings of your assignment.

For digital tests, Ans submits answers to open questions with 20 or more words, images uploaded inside an open question, files uploaded in a file upload question and answers to code questions.
Now that Ouriginal is enabled for the assignment, you will find the Ouriginal tab at the left side, below all regular digital test options. On this page, you can find the 'Settings' and 'Actions'. If necessary, you can also remove Ouriginal for your assignment.
Under the option 'Settings', you can check the box Auto submit to automatically send submissions to Ouriginal for plagiarism checking once the student has submitted their assignment.
Under the option 'Actions', you can click Submit to Ouriginal to submit all answers that have not yet been analysed. This action can be done if the Ouriginal integration was enabled after students already submitted their assignments.
Under the option 'Visibility', you can check the box Show plagiarism significance, to allow students to see the plagiarism significance of their documents when the results are published.
In order for the submitted answers or files to be sent to Ouriginal for plagiarism analysis, the file or submission must adhere to certain requirements.

Ans compiles the data from the Ouriginal integration within the platform. In this overview you will be able to see how much content matched per answered question. To view the individual Ouriginal report of a student, follow the steps below.
Once you have opened this tab, you are able to see the significance score which is expressed in the percentage of content that matched their database. You can also open the detailed overview of the matched content within Ouriginal by clicking on the blue percentage score.
Ans also includes the significance score on the results page when the Ouriginal integration is enabled. This is the highest significance percentage recorded for all questions of the student.
lightbulb_outline Ans retrieves the data for the report directly from Ouriginal. For more information on how to read the data, you can visit the Ouriginal helpcenter.
The default setting for the plagiarism integrations is to automatically send the answers of all students for the plagiarism check, when the integration is enabled for your assignment. If the beta feature 'Manual plagiarism checks with the Ouriginal integration' is enabled on school level, it is also possible to turn off this auto-submit feature within the integration. This will stop all results from being submitted and you can then decide to submit all results to Ouriginal from within the integration tab. You can read more about this feature here.
