From the settings of your question bank, you can add labels, protection rules and tags. You can also view the audit log, removed exercises and removed assignments.
To edit or view the settings of a question bank, follow the steps below.
- Click on your question bank or use the search bar in the Question banks-section.
- Click on your question bank.
- Once you have selected your question bank, click settings Settings.
The Overview tab will open by default. From this here, you can rename your question bank. You can also remove your question bank. Keep in mind, if you accidentally remove a question bank, only an administrator can restore a removed question bank.
To help keep your question bank organised, we recommend using labels. The labels Draft, Review needed, Revision needed and Accepted are already included. In addition, it is possible to add your own personal labels. You can read more about labels here.
Question bank assignments
To disable changing exercises in a question bank assignment, you can add an assignment protection rule to the question bank labels. When enabling this option on a label, no changes can be made to assignments that have this label. You can read more about assignment protection rules here.
At the exercise tab, you can add an exercise protection rule to define exercise protection rules to:
- Disable changing the exercise
- Disable changing the grading scheme
- Disable changing the objectives
- Disable adding exercise to assignments
You can read more about assignment protection rules here.
At the tags tab, you can see all of the tags you have created and how many exercises include these tags. You also have the option to edit and delete the tag. You can read more about assignment protection rules here.
The Audit log will show the date and time that the question bank was created, when someone was added as a publisher or author and when a new question bank assignment was created.
At the Removed exercises tab, you can view the exercises that were removed and the date in which they were removed. If necessary, you can also restore an exercise by clicking Restore.
At the removed assignments tab, you can view question bank assignments that were removed and the date in which they were removed. If necessary, you can also restore a question bank assignment by clicking Restore.
