An exercise is a part of an assignment, in which you explain what you expect from a student. Exercises can be created, copied and imported. The exercise contains a header in which you give a title to the exercise. This can, for example, be 'Exercise 1', or might contain the subject of the exercise. After the exercise is named, questions or content can be added.
A description can be added to your exercise to explain further or give more background information about the question or questions you are adding to your exercise. A description can come in the form of audio, code, description (plain text), image and video. Adding a description to your exercise is recommended but not required. Read more about the description types here.
After creating an exercise, you can add a one or multiple questions to it. Each question type has its own specific properties. A question is part of an exercise which is used to acquire an answer from the student. Different question types can be used within the same exercise. You can see an overview of the question types here.
