An exercise is a part of an assignment, in which you explain what you expect from a student. Exercises can be created, copied and imported. The exercise contains a header in which you give a title to the exercise. This can, for example, be 'Exercise 1', or might contain the subject of the exercise. After the exercise is named, questions or content can be added.
A question is the part of the exercise which gives a direct assignment to the student. The way students can respond to the question depends on what type of question you ask. Different types of questions can be added. An example of a question is 'What is the definition of a question?' for an open question, or, 'Which of the following options is the definition of a question?' for a multiple-choice question.
Besides questions, you can add a description to your exercises. A description can come in the form of plain text, explaining more about the question or giving background information. In addition, pictures, video and audio can also be added.
