Tip: Read here how to create an assignment.
A coding assignment is an assignment where the students have to write code. This can be Matlab or Python code. The code can be reviewed automatically if wanted.
A solution file can be uploaded in Ans. Grading criteria can be set by using information from this file.
The following grading methods can be used
- Values: you can review specific values. These values can be selected when the grading method is set on Values. All the values from the solution-file can be chosen at the variable drop-down menu.
- Syntax: you can review a syntax. The grading method has to be set on Syntax. Then you can fill in a syntax. The logical operators from below can be used.
- Combination of both: if it is desired to use both, a value and a syntax, set the value as dominant. Click Options at the top right and select Dominant. When the value is correct, the syntax will not be reviewed, while there is a great chance that this one is also correct.
When automatically reviewing is wanted, the uploaded files from the students will be compared with the given criteria.
At the review page, it is possible to get an insight into the answers given by the students and the criteria they meet.
