In the previous step, you learnt how to start reviewing your first student. In this step you will learn how to add annotations to the answer of a student.
Reviewers can annotate text in the answer of the student and then add a comment to the annotation. Keep in mind, that this only works for open questions.
Add annotations
- When an open question is selected for review, you can select text in the answer to annotate it.
- The Annotations-tab will open automatically and a comment can be added.
- Click Save to add the comment or click Back to overview to continue reviewing without adding a comment to the annotation.
- Highlighted text can be deleted by clicking on it in the answer box. The highlight will be selected and you can click on the close-icon that appears at the top-right of the highlight.
Check or edit a comment
To view all comments that were added at the annotated areas, you can select the Annotations section at the top. All comments will be shown including the annotated text that the comment belongs to.
If you want to edit a comment, you can click on the comment, then click on the more_vert-icon and click on Edit.
If an annotation has a comment attached, the colour of the annotation will change from yellow to purple.
