Getting started for members
If you're looking to join your school in Ans, this section of the guide is for you. As an instructor, you'll be able to create courses, grade assignments and invite new members to Ans to get simplify grading and amplify learning.
Step 1 — Join Ans
There are two ways to join Ans: accept the email invitation that you’ve been sent or directly login using your existing school account
- Accept an email invitation to join. Open the email invitation, and click Join. We’ll guide you along, but we’ll ask you to enter your first and last name. We’ll also ask you to choose a password so you can sign in and out with ease.
- Directly login with your existing school account. Directly go to Ans and select your school. This option is only available if your school has enabled the single sign-on.
Step 2 — Set up your profile
Filling out your Ans profile helps other members learn more about you. We will already have the basics from when you created your account.
Where is what?
You can find a course if you already joined one, created one or you are added to one, by clicking Courses in the menu after logging in. To find an assignment or exam in a course, select an assignment after going to a course. In the menu of a course, you can also find more information about the course by clicking About, see the objectives of the course in Objectives and the Users of a course.
