In Ans, you can create and take different assignment types. You can choose between individual and group assignments.
- Handwritten assignment
The ‘traditional’ exam, where students take the exam on paper. With Ans, you create and grade this exam online.
The bubblesheet is an answer form for paper-based multiple-choice exams. Students can answer the question by coloring the answer of their choice. The exam questions are not included in the bubblesheet exam, they need to be printed separately.
- Hand-in assignment
This type can be used for assignments such as papers, essays and theses. It’s possible to enable plagiarism checks on the results of the students.
- Digital test
The digital test is created and graded online, just like the handwritten assignment. The main difference is students take this test online as well. One of the advantages is that a lot of question types can be graded automatically.
- Appraisal form
The appraisal form is ideal for assessing a skill or attitude in practice. Think of an oral, presentation, or practical assignment. During or after the performance of the assignment by your student, you can add your feedback in the appraisal form.
- Digital peer assignment
With the digital peer assignment, students will grade the assignments of other students. This can be helpful in the learning cycle of your students.
- Coding assignment
The coding assignment is meant to test programming skills. You can either grade the results manually or automate the grading of the results.
- Digital test for groups
This type of test enables students to take the test with a group. They can work together, one person hands in the answers for the whole group.
- Hand-in assignment for groups
Just like the digital test, the hand-in assignment for groups is meant to stimulate cooperation between students. One person of the group hands in the result which will be graded for the whole group.
- Digital peer assignment for groups
With the peer assignment, the result of a group of students will be graded and provided with feedback by another group of students.
- Coding assignment for groups
One student hands in the coding assignment, where the result is graded for the whole group.
